OLFA Magnetic Touch Knives (TK-3M/2P) - Multi-Purpose Disposable Mini Pocket Sized Utility Knife Box Cutter w/Retractable Stainless Steel Blade & Keychain Hole (2 Pack)

I've had one of these since the mid 90s. I still use it! I decided to get these so I can keep one at work and an extra as a "just in case". I love these. They are convenient! I use them for opening all my Amazon packages, as well as cutting pages out of my puzzle Books (easier to work the puzzle pages when removed from the thick book). These will also make great little stocking stuffer gifts.

The only problem I've had with these OLFA Magnetic Touch Knives is that they are so popular in this household that I can never find one when I need it. I wish they came is larger packs. They arrived quickly. They are small but well made and seem to be quite sturdy. They cut great and are perfect for opening the many Amazon boxes that we receive. I recommend purchasing more than one pack because you're going to end up wanting them for the car, the purse, the kitchen, bathroom, etc. They are really handy little gadgets.

This gadget is so handy! The magnet keeps it handy on my fridge and the cutter tackles any tape or cardboard. I ordered multiples and give them to friends. Editing to add that having the blad retract so quickly and easily is another neat feature.

I'm still using the one my son bought me in 1983; still perfectly sharp, even after two moves + everyday use. I bought some more (these), tho, just in case I was stupid enough to lose the one I have. (The new ones are just as good!). Important: the ones that are round-ish shape do NOT have the little bump that keeps the blade extended. Don't buy this shape, tho it's the same maker. You have to keep the blade out by hand while you cut. THIS VERSION IS NOT LIKE THAT. There is a little "nub" that catches the blade and keeps it extended.You will not be sorry. Order 2 pks; you'll like find that someone in your family has lifted yours (common problem with kids heading to college bcs they already know they're good but won't have access to yours!). Caveat: Magnetized to stick on refrig, filing cabinet/etc. This is not an featureI care about. I always store sharp things with care, not someplace where a small, short person could have access. We keep them on our fridge because they are magnetic. We use one almost daily for all sorts of things. Happy it came in a 2-pack!

I love these things! Now that I have Amazon boxes arriving almost every day, they have made my life so much easier. I don’t have to search the house to find the scissors or go through all the tools in the garage to find our box-cutter so I can open the latest box. It might be overstating things to call them “life-changing” but they are excellent, efficient (and affordable!) little tools. I keep one in my purse and it comes in handy here and there, like when I’m visiting relatives in their home and they are looking all over for scissors so they can open *their* Amazon boxes. Then I end up having to buy more of these because they want mine. :-)One final note: I have arthritis in my hands and these little gadgets allow me to open boxes without hurting my hands using scissors or a box cutter—a small thing, yes, but It makes a difference to me.

I like these little craft knives. They will last a long time, and they are convenient. I don’t need a craft knife too often, so I didn’t want to spend a ton. These fit the bill, and are comfortable.

Very nice little knives for package opening and similar tasks. Handy as they have magnetic backing and stick to fridges and other metal surfaces.
