Technically it is not an open comb. It is a hybrid design having open comb with a safety bar.Sure a well design product. Sturdy, heavy razor with a good handle knurling. Nicely minimized blade gap to reduce aggressiveness without compromising on cutting efficiency.Craftsmanship is good. Uniform blade exposure and blade gap on both sides.Chrome finishing could have been better. But if one wants mirror finish chrome like Edwin Jagger DE89 in a sub-one thousand rupees razor, it is asking far too much.I tried the Pink Woolf OC 70 on a 5 day beard growth with one of my regular combinations of Vicco Turmeric shaving cream, Rubab Men synthetic Brush and 7 O'Clock Super Platinum (Black) made in India Blades.With my unusual ritual of 3 passes comprising of a with the grain pass followed by 2 against the grain passes, it gave smooth BBS shave.For Experienced DE shavers: Just go for it.For beginners: it is a good razor to start practicing open comb shaving. Just watch your technique, don't apply pressure and stick to short strokes.

Hi..The razor is ok to use.The metal quality is good.But the black coating on the handle is fading off in 10 days of purchase itself..I was expecting more from it but it is not a good quality product....

It's an excellent razor. Feels as sturdy as a tank, fits all blades. it's the best razor at this price point. I have been using this for six months now, glides like skates on ice. You actually don't even need to be very careful while shaving, all you need to do is not apply pressure and let the weight of the razor do the work for you. Before this, I used the expensive three-four blade Gillette razors, what a waste of money those were with their delicate blades and plastic outers. The chrome plating on this razor is of excellent quality, after six months the razor still looks the same as on the day it came out of the box. The thing is these multiple blade Gillette razors are very bad for your skin, they remove the outer layer of the skin and strip it of all essential oils. If you shave very frequently, a double edge razor is the only option for you if you want to have good skin ten years from now. Buying another one as a gift for a friend.

If you are new to wet shaving then definitely start with this razor, it gliders so beautifully on your skin without leaving bumps or burns. I recently started wet shaving and let me tell you it's a very pamparing felling. Ofcourse use this razor with other amazing pink wolf products and you will fall in love with wet shaving and would want to shave everyday
