Perfect USB Hub for Raspberry Pi Projects – Compact and Efficient!
The SABRENT 4 Port USB 3.0 Hub with Individual LED Lit Power Switches was exactly what I needed for my Raspberry Pi project. It’s compact, which is perfect for my limited workspace, and the ability to control power to each port individually is a game-changer for managing peripherals efficiently. The build quality feels solid, and setup was completely plug-and-play. Overall, this hub exceeded my expectations and is a great addition to any tech setup!

Works well and very convenient
Works well. I have three devices (DVD player/burner, Blu-ray player/burner, and external HDD) and got tired of plugging and unplugging them. This switched hub makes it very easy. I did time a file transfer with the external HDD both plugged directly into the laptop and through the hub and didn't see any appreciable difference.

Works great - device detection, compatibility, separate on/off switches
This 4 port USB 3 powered hub works great for all USB devices such as USB drive, keyboard , mouse, audio interface, drawing tablets, MIDI devices, USB ethernet adapter, etc. So far all devices get detected immediately. I had issues with other cheaper USB hubs (such as NAIO-CHAO with on/off switches) with detection of some devices (audio interface in my case) needing reconnect or switching USB port off/on every time computer started and even with that drawing tablet kept getting unrecognized USB device error. So there seems to be differences in USB hubs on what is used inside as some unknown brands don't perform consistently and can have compatibility issues. Comparatively this is not less expensive device but works flawlessly and highly recommend as a great choice for needing 4 ports with on/off switches. I had similar good result with other USB hubs (without on/off switches) from brands, tp-link and BYEASY. Even though this hub works without power adapter as well for all my devices so far, connecting included power adapter is a good choice to cover all power drawing scenarios and help laptop battery charge last longer. I haven't done speed testing but practically seems no different than other USB 3 hubs. This being 4 port USB hub for portability, USB cable length is fine for most use like next to laptop or wish to be longer in other use. Detachable cable may be helpful in that case. Or use additional extension cable.

Good Enough. Could be Better - but does the job.
Use it every day - LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It makes my 2 USB port laptop much more productive. I just had too many needs for USB and not enough ports. I like the way this one has on and off options, so I can control that without unplugging a device. PRO's: The price was RIGHT. Makes it possible to have all your USB devices accessible at the same time - no swapping around, YAY The pro quality make it good enough to put up with the con's, although If I saw a way to fix the con's I'd do it ASAP. CON's: The cable that goes from the Hub to the power outlet fits kind of wonky. That almost made me think the right cable was not included. It fits too loose and doesn't even go all the way in - a bit bothersome but tolerable. The power lights can be a bit distracting (although very pretty) and they blink rapidly when there is no power, but it is still plugged in. I think that could be a LOT slower - or even just one small red light showing that it is not connected to power. The cord to connect to the PC could seriously be longer. It's VERY short, 10" total! There's no way to keep it out of the way. With the connecting cord designed the way it is there is no way to opt for just using another cable - the one end is 1/8" and the other is USB. Would love an extension. Would I recommend? YES - even with all the Con's it still does the job - another I bought did not. I could only actively use one port at a time - I can use all of these at once with no problem. Would I buy it again? Yes if there wasn't another brand, doing what I want to see improved, for the same price.

Nice powered USB3 hub with handy port disable
Was hoping to get my document scanner on USB3 with this, but alas that failed, which isn't this device's fault. Rearranged connections and it's all working best it can. Particlarly like the buttons to turn each port on/off dynamically, as I don't have to unplug a device to do a "pull and plug" to reset the connection. This is particularly useful on Linux where the system actually provides detail on what's happening with a USB device is plugged in, and sadly where less USB devices are supported so one does have to avail themselves of that information to get it working. Also wanted a powered hub to drive the external DVD, offloading that from the system. Otherwise it's a USB3 hub ... plug it in to the system, plug stuff into it, make sure the port is on. Done.

After 2 years ( I think) it's still working fine and am quite happy with the fact that's it's powered. My PC doesn't have a high enough wattage for the power supply so that's a plus having it powered. I did have to purchase an extension as the USB wire length (short) is more suitable for laptops.

The SABRENT 4 Port USB 3.0 Hub is the unexpected hero of my desk. Plugged it in, hit the little LED switches, and boom my camera stopped flickering like it was trying to send Morse code. Even better, it teams up perfectly with the LINDY 43271 5 m USB‑C to A active extension, like a techy buddy‑cop duo that actually gets the job done. No dropouts, no drama, just smooth sailing. If your webcam is having a meltdown, this hub might just be the therapist it needs.
