This is the indispensable dipping sauce for fondue bourguignonne which is the fondue using hot oil in a fondue pot to fry cubes of beef. If you have a fondue set, buy this sauce and try it with a good bottle of Pinot noir. It’s unbelievably good. Everyone in France loves this brand. It’s one of my favorite things in the world to eat.

I dislike there were no instructions on how to use this product.

To potential buyers, I read in reviews there is no instructions in english. Note this is not a base for boeuf bourguignon this is a sauce to eat with your steak as is, do not cook it. It's like a flavored mayo, I guess shallots and wine. Can be cold or warmed up. I like it cold with my steak and to dip my fries.

I used this to thicken my beef Bourguignon stew (I think flour and cornstarch taste gross as thickening agents) and it was good but a little too mayonnaise tasting.

Turned beef, onions, and mushrooms into a tasty dish over noodles for a quick easy dinner.

I CANNOT FIND ENGLISH DIRECTIONS ANYWHERE!

Love this sauce. When I was younger and living in France. My parents would pull this sauce to make fondue or to eat with various steak. It is absolutely delicious.
