Authentic Bearnaise Sauce - Delouis Fils - pack of 4

I've tried so many packaged and bottled Bearnaise sauces but this is the ONLY one that I buy. It's wonderful. Honestly it's like I made the sauce from scratch.

Unfortunately this was very sour in its taste. A lot more then it’s supposed to be. Might have been a bad batch, not sure, but this is not how bearnaise is supposed to taste.

We don't use Bearnaise often enough to really get good at making it at home, and have also never found a commercial brand that tasted authentic. This one is really excellent. Comes is a set of 4 small jars, which is perfect for us. We use 1 4oz jar over abt 2 weeks, and the other jars stay fresh in the cupboard until we want to enjoy it again. No having to find ways to use it all up at once.

I've tried a couple of these ready-to-serve béarnaise sauces. This is by far, the best. I probably should give it a 5 star, but honestly, to be 5 star, you have to make the sauce yourself from scratch. All that said, this is a great sauce.

It's a decent sauce but not quite as good as the Pottier sauce that is more pricey. A bit more tangy than I would prefer but acceptable.

This is exactly the Bearnaise Sauce I remember eating when I was a teenager living in Belgium. I was shocked that for the first time I managed to duplicate that exact same taste in the US!! I’ve had very expensive steaks in expensive restaurants and every time I order the bearnaise sauce I’m disappointed. One taste of this and I’m an immediate future advocate!! Best thing ever! Love the acidity and the overall taste! :)

Shipment arrived on schedule and was was well packed. No problem there. However, the taste did not compare to what I was served many times in various restaurants in Germany, France, and Denmark. Taste was somewhat bitter.

I used to buy Maille but they discontinued it. Very tasty sauce my only complaint is the jars need to be bigger.
