Generac OneWash 3,100 PSI 70191 Pressure Washer, Black, Orange

Bought this pressure washer in April to use in the summer. Received it quickly and assembled it according to package and manual instructions. Come time to use it for the first time on 7/7/20, it ran rough and smoked. I called several times to troubleshoot without success. No more smoke, but appears to have a grand mal seizure and nearly stalls. Generac tells me I must take it to a dealer to have it serviced and determine if it is a warranty problem. Provided me with four dealers names 30 - 45 miles away, only to find out none of which service Generac pressure washers. Are now providing a dealer name over 50 miles away (90 minute drive time on rural roads). I will have to drop it off and pick up once diagnosed and/or fixed. So this will be 6 hrs of drive time, over 200 miles wear and tear on my vehicle and approximately $50.00 in gas. To top it off it could be deemed not warrantable. These are unreasonable hoops to jump through. Generac will not just replace the unit or refund my money. Apparently Generac is unconcerned with customer satisfaction. Generac says to go through Amazon to get refunded, but unfortunately I am past the 60 day return mark.I am writing this in hopes that Amazon could help me out.

I bought this Generac pressure washer because I have a Generac generator and it has never failed me for 15 years.It did not come with the funnel but all other parts were there. One complaint I have is the plastic piece that holds the gun when not in use. It’s not very sturdy and will likely break in the near future. Also there is nothing to hold the end of the gun to the frame so the gun moves about adding to possible failure of the gun holder.I used the pressure washer for the first time today, and after I finished, I found one of the hex bolts that holds the pump to the motor, on the ground. I went to put it back in and another of the 4 bolts had worked its way almost completely out.Not good quality control.The hose is not very flexible and is a pain to untangle.

Nice unit worked great until until pump went. Bought it August 2019 used it off and on till October put it away for winter used it twice in the spring and the pump went. Called Generac they gave me the location of a repair center drove unit to repair center , the guy let me know the pump went he got in touch with Generac and the pump for that unit is back ordered discontinued, really. Called Generac myself they told me the same thing, told me the service center has to file paperwork stating the pump was defective. I'm still trying to deal with this but looks like I'm out of luck. Do not buy this unit or Generac

Completely disappointed with the oily mess that I found on several pressure washer surfaces. Reported discrepant condition to Amazon Customer and obviously spoke with a representative that did not seem to give a _____ about my concern. So, NO! Not happy with my purchase.UPDATE: November 2020 - Totally disgusted with my purchase of this Generac Pressure Washer. Unit failed completely within the first 0.5 hour of operation. Generac's product support regarding repair of the equipment was the worst that I have ever experienced. Will never buy another Generac product. Will never purchase another piece of power equipment from Amazon. Apparently, Amazon never informed Generac of my receipt inspection concerns regarding the oily mess that I found on unit and reported to Amazon after opening shipping box.

Right out of the box...It won't crank.

I bought this last year and finally used it twice. Assembly was relatively easy and you just need to follow the directions. It started fairly easy, but you do need to choke it first. It's quite powerful and I was able to remove the green algae that builds up on the side of your house. I have vinyl siding. I also used it on my concrete pad in the back of the house. Did a great job! One caution, I have though The hose that is used. My recommendation is to ensure that the hose is as far away from the motor as possible ( when it's running) . In other words, you need to stretch it out and untangle it if need be. Don't let it bunch-up too close to the engine. I had to have the hose replaced already. While running it for the first time, the hose was too close to the engine and it got caught up inside the engine to where the hose unfortunately was sliced and caused it to leak-out. I called the main number for Generac and they immediately sent me a new hose and at no cost to me. Very excellent customer service at Generac!

I am sending it back. It was delivered yesterday. I assembled it yesterday and added gas. Gas began leaking and i was unable to stop it. The experts at Generac had me turn it on its side so it would no longer leak. I then had to register it and i was given the name of 2 authorized service places to being it for repair. Neither one is close or rated highly. I regret purchasing it.

This is worth the money!! Perfect sprayer!! Love the 4 adjustment on the gun. Cleans concrete well. And great for washing the car. The soap function is easy to work. Plus did a lot of research and they make the best dependable and reliable sprayer.
