Yes these are as advertised, Metal Body.... I have rarely gone through staplers but since the plastic bodies came into play, I have been going through 2-3 a year... I am hopeful these new metal body staplers will hold up... works smooth and great so far... Very Happy with My Current Purchase...

These are my favourite staplers! They are sturdy, will staple through a thick bundle of paper. I used them over 25 years ago and so glad I found them on Amazon! Way to go Amazon! And Swingline!!

That's the only stapler that will for sure outlive me. Binds many sheets, far more than I expected from description, with easy! Other staplers I had just went to trash can, they are no much to this one.
