## Description

Rome's Chestnut Roaster and Fireplace Popcorn Popper, Steel with Wood Handle

Review: Works great! - I used this several times and it performed well each time. I put a little Olive Oil in the pan and yellow kernels. It pops in a matter of minutes, tastes great, and does not get hot on the handle. The only issue is the lid clamp could be a bit better design.
Review: works great! - Bought it last year and used it a couple of times over the summer to make popcorn while camping and it worked great. We used it over a campfire most of the time. One time we even used it with the heat from the chimney of a chiminea. We had no problems with the black coating coming off as reported in other reviews. It heats up quickly, so you don't need a real hot fire and never had a problem with the handle becoming too hot while in use. If you enjoy camping and popcorn, I would recommend this item.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Chestnut roasters are hard to find.
*by H***O on January 14, 2011*

Worked okay, but not really heavy duty enough for an open fire. The grommets on handle melted off during the first use, but were easily replaced with machine screws and nuts. The wooden handle on top tends to catch on fire and the metal clasp on front comes off a little too easily. With that said, though, we have had a lot of fun roasting chestnuts for our neighbors and friends and we plan to make it a neighborhood tradition for Christmas.
