Using for boat line chafing protection. Works great.

I bought the 2” wide, (1-3/8” diameter) chafe sleeve for 3/4” dock lines. The larger size makes it quicker and easier to slip over the line and will even slip over the end with the eye splice. The density of the fabric seems equal to some name brand yacht chafe sleeve I have. Cut to length and burn the edges.

I figured this wasn't going to be as good as I really wanted, but thought to check in out.I've just replaced my docklines, 3/4" 3-strand.I bought better quality "Chafe-Pro" for the boat ends. Decided to use this on the dock cleat ends where I normally don't have chafe.Have had several storm force events recently (MA south coast) that required new lines and chafe all around.

Use for crossed lines tying up with 3/4 dbl braid dock lines. Worked well but need to insure they don’t unravel when cut. So make sure to burn edges to lock fibers from separating

I secure to the line with a plastic cable tie so it stays in place. I cut about 1 foot sections for each line. Last a long time.

good resistance. I have tried other similar products online and have been disappointed. This one is really good for the price.

Does the job, lines are quite.

Size shown in pictures are smaller than what you actually get. The flat width is 2.75" This is too large for my application.Was expecting something tougher and rigid but the material is very soft. This was to be used as a protective sleeve for offroad recovery soft shackles. I've had other items that I could not use because it was soft but. This is even softer.It looked very promising but just too soft and not size not as advertised.
