UPDATE, The only issue I have is after two months the coated connector part of the cord has become detached form the base and when it happened the item was already past the time frame to return it, It still works but I wish it was a little better made at the connecter points!WOW, This Little Charger DOES A WONDERFUL JOB, From Day One My Original Apple 60w Charger Got Very Hot. I Will Be Honest I Was Very Wary About Buying This Charger Feeling That It Would Over Heat And Possibly Cause Damage To My Laptop. NOPE, Works Great Thus Far (Will Update In A Few Months) As Of Now It Does Get A Wee Bit Warm Not To Much No More Then A Normal Charger,(NO WORRIES) I Have Only One Issue The Plug Portion Does Not Stay In The Wall Socket Very Well. ( NOT A DEAL BREAKER) I Was Able To Use My Extension Apple Cord That Slides Into The Port (YAY) Fits Very Snug. This Charger Is Very LIGHT In Weight, If You Are Trying To Compare This Charger To An Apple DON'T They Are Not The Same But It Seems To Work The Same With Little To No Difference. I Am Very Pleased!

After having and using this replacement charger for about 2 weeks, things are going great. So glad there is an alternative to Apple's $80 charger. I am using this on a 10 year old laptop that no longer gets OS updates, so I didn't really want to shell out that much to keep it going. This is a great option and works well. The only thing it seems to not have is the little Apple logo on the side. Outside of that, it is near identical.

I purchased this Mac Book Pro Charger to replace my lost charger. The charger I received is brand new with cable ties and plastic protective packaging. It came well packed in a brown box with bubble wrap padding in a plastic sleeve, protective scratch resistant plastic film and the connector was protected with a hard plastic cover. No assembly required.The product looks great. Clean glossy white. The connector has a magnetic tip that quickly snapped into place.Mac Book Pro (2012 model) booted right up. No issues.

I hadn't used my MacBook (2011) for over 6 months b/c I lost my replacement charger. The one I had ordered previously I never really liked and missed my OEM charger. This replacement is identical to the OEM. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this one and wished I had it before. This is just like the OEM where you can take off the prongs to attach the longer cord (I don't know where mine is to try) it has the "wings" I call it to wrap the cord. Basically it's the perfect replacement for your Apple charger. THANKS for making a great product!!

Charges great right away and I was even able to extend it by adding the thicker part of my old charger to the white box. However, I have noticed that when I plug my phone into my computer now to charge/sync, the touchscreen gets all wonky and like it has a life of its own. It may not affect yours, and it's not the end of the world (I hope not) so I would say don't worry about it.

I did a bit of research and looked up whether it was worth it to buy the real replacement charger and found that the fake ones are most likely just as good. So I took the plunge and just bought this bootleg charger. So far, it’s working and charging my laptop as intended. It also works with my extension cord which is great. But I guess for the value, time will tell on how long this thing will last!

I replaced my Apple Charger with this "Mac Book Pro Charger Replacement" for my MacBook Pro. We all know Apple charges to much money for their brand; heck no, I'm not paying $80. I researched many replacements on Amazon and came across this vendor and I was very pleased with what they offer.My experience thus far is a positive one and it should be noted that this replacement charger does not get hot to the touch like my "original," Apple charger did! This replacement charger is reliable, constructed well, IMHO, it looks and feels just like the Apple brand for a very affordable price.Update: The replacement charger is working well, the wire doesn't get hot and there are no heat discolorations on the wire near the magnetic part.I recommend this product!

I recently purchased this charger to replace an old MagSafe charger that came with my laptop. The old cord had become worn and frayed, making it a fire hazard. This new cord works just like an authentic, more expensive Apple cord! The casing on the cord also feels thicker and more heavy duty compared to the original. Seems like a good quality. Would recommend this product!
