IT DONT WORK GOOD OR LAST LONG
I HAVE A ICE CREAM TRUCK AND THIIS SCOPER DID NOT LAST A WEEK AND IT NOT THE FIRST ONE VERY DISSATISFIED

Exactly what I wanted
This is exactly what I was looking for. I've purchased 3 stainless steel ice cream scoops before this. The first two broke within 6 months. The third came out of a grab bag from Goodwill and had to have been at least 10 years old. It had the same trigger mechanism as this scoop. The only problem was its size (like a melon baller). This was the type of scoop I needed, it was the most durable and easiest to clean. Looking forward to many years of easy ice cream scoops and one scoop pancake batter drops in the future!

Trash. Broke on literally the first scoop.
This thing is FLIMSY. Like super thin stamped steel that you can crush in your hand. From the handle to the scoop bowl. Thin all around. My wife was scooping sherbet we just bought- so it was soft from the trip home from the grocery store, and it STILL broke on the first scoop. Literal garbage. I understand “they don’t make stuff like they used to” - but what’s the point of making it so thin that it’s literal garbage on first use?? Anyway- the dollar store plastic one-piece scoop is way more durable. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Not too shabby
I purchased this with high hopes (especially because of the price). I have used this a total of 5 times max and it feels flimsy and hard to push out the ice cream when serving. You can also see in the last picture that the latch isn’t flush with the scoop anymore.
