I bought this set for my 1 1/2 year old grandson as he loves climbing into things (mostly boxes and laundry baskets). I was searching Amazon for a tent and 99% of them are so expensive! Then I found this one with all the extras...so cool! The lantern actually lights up and so does the camping stove. I didn't give him all the extra pieces as he'd just put them in his mouth, he'll get all the bonus toys in 6 months to a year. As for the tent he climbed in as soon as I popped it open (no assembly at all, just pop it open in 2 secs) and he loved it. I love it because it's much bigger than it looks in the pics and the sides are mesh so he's always in view. I put a large couch pillow in there and he fell asleep after playing in it. It's large enough that he invited the dog in there too and there was still room to play.

This is a real find! I bought this for a 2 1/2 year old granddaughter. It has so many great little things to play with: a lantern that lights up, a watch that works, plastic ‘fruit’ she can ‘cut’ with a plastic ‘knife’, and lots more. The tent is very easy to set up and small enough we brought it inside to play on rainy days. All this for less than $30! Great value! And I almost forgot to add the most important point - our granddaughter loves it.

This is a really cute camping set. The accessories are a lot more realistic than I expected, and perfect for a four year old. He loves to “slice” the fruit and “cook” on the camp stove that really lights up. There’s even a reversible hat to wear, and a backpack style bag to put everything in. I am very happy with this product.

Durable so far! The lantern is very well loved and used. It fits one kid comfortably (5 and 3) with pillows and with minimal fighting. If both kids try to be in there... All bets are off. It is just too small for them both. We bought the llama llama camping book also. They have been camping for real 1x and this toy was perfect to remember old and make new memories. Cute and fun toy!!

Wife and I got this for our nephew. He’s 3 and loves it. Sets it up every time he comes over to our house. All the gear that comes with the tent is fun too. I especially like the combination whistle/flashlight/compass and will likely borrow it on my next hike in the Appalachians. The hat is reversible so you can be an islander or a hunter depending on your mood. It’s ideal. We’re all very pleased with it. Except my cat who managed to find a way into it and promptly proceeded to panic and jump around like a loon until I lifted the flap through which she had just entered. She hid in the basement after that. She probably wouldn’t give it a great review but she doesn’t have thumbs either, does she? The tent is not amazing quality but it’ll probably last as long as the nephew fits in it. The gadgets seem pretty decent though. My only gripe is the struggle of collapsing the tent after use. My wife had to talk me through it last time but I managed. It popped back open on me three times in the process but that could just be me. If you buy it for a young child they will likely love it. I don’t recommend it for actual camping. It was kind of cramped for two adults.

This has a ton of super fun items in it for kids. It’s lasted a long time now and the tent is super easy to pop up and then also put away and store

This set is so neat! The tent is large enough for our 17 month old grand baby to use for the next few years. The toys are sturdy. The Velcro that holds the food together is very strong. The grill didn’t work when we put batteries in, but the lantern worked fine. The binoculars really work, and so does the compass watch. Lots of fun to be had for under $25. I haven’t tried to fold the tent back into the circle how it came, but I was able to fold it flat with ease. I like that the tent has a floor to it, so toys in the tent are contained in the tent.

Our son LOVES this set! The tent is super fun & comes with a flap to play peek-a-boo. The lantern really lights up! The food comes apart by Velcro and it’s hours of fun. We couldn’t be happier with our purchase for our son’s first birthday!
