There are some no motor lakes, streams, and rivers and this thing will float 200ibs in just a few inches of water!! I do like small personal boats, as you can get into some places that most people wouldn't be able to fish from either shore, or in a bigger motor boat. The paddle that came with it is pretty flimsy, and short. So order yourself a longer "fishing Paddle" that has a retrieval hook to help you unsnag your line. This Kayak is pretty light, and easy for one person to manage. I also have a 15ft canoe that weighs more than twice as much, so on solo trips i go for this Kayak!!
