Canon Magnifire MG-Ef

My 77D has a tiny .82X viewfinder and the MG-Ef brings it up to .984x, close to the same size as an 80D or 70D viewfinder. The clarity of this coated two-element eyepiece is excellent: sharp, clear and no added artifacts. I didn't notice any degradation of the viewfinder image. Although the viewfinder image is noticeably larger—why I bought the MG-Ef—it's probably not big enough for critical manual focus (use the LCD for that). Buy this 1.2X eyepiece magnifier if you want to have a little larger viewfinder image in a Rebel or 77D DSLR.The gotcha of an eyepiece magnifier is it reduces eye relief (exit pupil) so you have to press your eye very close to see the entire viewfinder. If you wear glasses you definitely won't be able to see the entire viewfinder image. All in all a well made accessory that does what I bought it for: provide a clear view that's a wee bit larger.

it can make the sight in view finder looks a little bigger, but still not big enough for manual focus, for that, LCD zoom is still the best way. But the reason I buy this is for protecting view finder, for this reason, it works great, it can cover the original view finer perfect, and when need to be clean, just take it down and do it.
