Not quite brushed aluminum...
I received this well packaged in a tube. I was surprised to see that the film actually looks just plain grey with lines versus shiny and metallic. It does reflect a small amount of light, but when in a shaded area, looks to be a plain grey. I have no use for this roll now since it does not even nearly match the brushed aluminum components already installed in my vehicle.

Looks good, bit of a learning curve on application. Once you have that figured out, it feels good and looks great.

Not a good representation of brushed aluminum
I was expecting more from 3M, this product is not a decent or close representation of brushed aluminum. The product does not imitate aluminum well. It looks like what it really is, cheap, brushed gray plastic. Bummer...
