Love this gel pen set. Very fine writing tip.
This set was my first gel pen set so I wasn't really sure how I'd like them but they are really easy to write with & comfortable to hold in my hand (I have arthritis in my fingers) so I'm very glad I chose them. I can't compare them to other gel brands since these are my first gel pens but I'm sold on gel pens after this.I particularly like that these are retractable & I still can't believe how easily they write. There's nothing bleeding through my paper either. The fine point is exactly what I like but I'm used to a fine point ball pen usually being a little harder to control & write neatly with but that's not the case with these. I have good handwriting & it looks very nice writing with these pens. Having different colors is neither here nor there for me but I thought I'd give them a try for variety. I like them. I'm happy with my purchase & would recommend this set.

Great pens great price and hard to find in stores
These pens are great if you want to write very small or want to avoid streaking the ink. The ink dries quickly which was important to me as a lefty because my hand always drags across everything I write. The colors are bright and despite the very fine tip the writing is very smooth feeling. They do not dry out and the ink does not quit on you mid sentence which happened to me all the time with other gel pens. You can write very small with these which is nice for classroom notes labeling diagrams and saving paper. I am already on my second pack. Do not buy if you are looking for a thick bold line in the paper, these create a very thing but very apparent marking.

One of the top 3 gel pens I've tried
My current top 3 pens are Pentel Energel Euros in 0.35, Pilot Juice Ups in 0.38, and this Uni-ball Signo RT1 in 0.38.These pens have all share some important traits: nice gel, consistent (flow and build), good grip, good diameter, and long lasting. The line thickness is about the same size as the other 0.38mm gel pens. I can't really find any faults with this pen other than the fact that the click sounds just "okay". The Juice Up definitely has one of the best clicking mechanisms in my opinion.I purchased a black pen from JetPens a while back and it looks and feels identical to the one I received from the Amazon seller PureFamily. It indeed came in a plastic bag, but that's okay because the total cost is $7.49 ($1.88 per pen).I did not have any immediate problems with the pens.If any problems arise I'll be sure to update this post.

Three Stars
I was expecting something a little different, but they do the trick.

smooth writers at a great price
These are my go-to pens. Very smooth, quick drying, and great for small handwriting. I like that I can get refills on Amazon also. Blue-black is a nice change from black, and the blue is very vibrant.

Very nice pen.
My new favorite pen... nice fine point that does not scratch the paper. I'd love to get this in a heavier metal body to give it a little more weight and a fancier look.

Very Fine Pen
If you like fine pens, this is not for you. They feel scratchy when you write with them, but that's the thing I like about them. They are .38 so a fine pen.

0.38mm may be misleading
The items arrived on time, as described, and at a reasonable price. My only complaint would be the 0.38 reference. The description did say it was a 0.5mm tip with a 0.38 mm line but if that is the case then everybody needs to market items that way.I have other 0.38 mm gel pens and these don't write as thin a line as they do which is disappointing. The other is a Uniball Signo 0.38.Maybe the Signo has a 0.38 tip and 0.28 mm line? They aren't Click pens though which is what i liked about these.Point is these gel pens write wider than what i am used to in a 0.38 gel pen. They work fine but are not as fine as i expected.

Simple The Best
I've been searching for the ideal pen the last couple of years. I mistakenly fell in love initially with the Pilot G-2. However, pilots tend to skip all the time (from a package of ten expect 2-3 of them to be completely useless). This Pen is smooth, writes without ever skipping and doesn't bleed through the paper. If you love writing, this is an experience you owe to yourself.

Smooth writing, doesn't bleed
Love these pens, thin, good color, don't bleed. I even use it to mark my Bible.
