Very impressed! Organic, grown in Canada and U.S, shipped in bags that allow minimum light in, info on packaging for how to store, and stated commitment to grow in healthy soils on sustainable farms, and a straigthforward reminder that it is important to purchase flax seeds whole, grinding them at home. Glad I chose this out of all the flax seed available on Amazon. I will be buying from them for Golden flax seed from now on, and look at their company (Terrasoul Superfoods) for my other health food purchases. (I use golden flax seed as a phyto-estrogen, adaptogen addition/substitution in recipes with chia seed)

Great for making flaxseed bread. consistent seeds color and texture. I prefer the whole seeds and I grind them as needed so they stay fresh longer.

Some flax seeds are gross. Trader Joe's had the best-tasting golden flax seeds but of course, they discontinued them. These are the closest to those I have tried. I eat these every day and I highly recommend these as they are a great value!

I've been using this product for years. I read about health benefits of consuming ground flax seed based on bonified studies (specifically lowering cholesterol and adding fiber), and since I was experiencing rising cholesterol levels I thought I'd give it a try. It has helped reduce my cholesterol levels - My most recent tests were maybe the best ever. The fiber makes my digestive system work effectively almost every day, which I'm grateful for because I used to tend toward constipation. It's got Omega-3s too, which have lots of heart health benefits. I buy it in whole seed form but I grind it up and store it in the freezer to keep it fresh. If you eat it whole your body does not benefit - you must grind the seed to release the contents. I am now using 2 rounded tablespoons, and I eat it mixed with my morning yogurt and fruit. But I started with about a tablespoon, to see how I would react. My doctor has noticed my lower cholesterol and I sing flax seed's praises to her. You can also buy flax seed pre-ground. I recommended it to my husband and sister and they had the same results. Of course, if you have very high cholesterol, this does not replace your medicine to control it. But I believe it can help.
