These are a truly ergonomic semi-flush sidecutters with handles that are slightly larger and straighter than most. This gives the user greater leverage and comfort when using the pliers. Handle width provides greater surface contact which means less fatigue. When closed, the handles are closer together. This is important because hand strength is greater at this point so less force is required. Cutters feature attractive medium blue grips, double-leaf springs and are made of high grade stainless steel. 5-3/4" (145mm) long.

Not so good, Returned
Quite disappointed with this purchase and returning it. First the good points:1. I love the box design with one leg going thru the center of the other. This makes for a very stable and strong joint design.2. The polishing is very good and they look nice3. The grips are good feeling and have the right amount of stickyness and cushion.Cons:1. Made in Pakistan which isn't bad in itself but not a country known for quality tools.2. The cutter does NOT go all the way to the throat of the pivot so if you put a wire all the way into the jaws you cannot cut it.3. Manufacturing defects: one jaw is missing a section of the blade & one jaw came with a ding on the very end where it had been dropped during manufacture. If it was shipping damage or user abuse both jaws would show evidence of the ding.

Decades of Journeyman Wireman Experience--My Professional Opinion
This is an excellent tool doing exactly what it was designed for doing--snipping small gauge wire--with great ease of use.Smooth operation. High quality workmanship and finish.Love the spring mechanism design! Other small wire sidecutters with coil springs I've owned in past became useless as the springs became damaged with use. This includes that famous name brand of tools used by professional electricians. This looks like it should last quite a while. As a bonus--it doubles nicely as a nail clipper! This high quality tool is a good buy!

Better than I thought they'd be.
I bought these to replace my beloved 35-year old Klein side cutters. I was hesitant because so many modern tools seem to be poorly designed and poorly made. After using them for a week, I think this was a good choice. I keep 3 tool boxes and I think I'll buy another couple pairs of these.

Hard-to-find good hobby sidecuts
I only buy pliers and cutters for hobby work that are channel-locks. Not hard to find in pliers, but I had to search to get side cutters. These are top-notch and not expensive.

These are small, sharp, and feel real solid in your hands thanks to the thick handles.

Metal is way to cheap and soft for cutting
Well the pliers were purchased for cutting fishing line the fishing line puts notches in the metal of the pliers and after one or two snips they become useless
