Great product. I used it for sidelight windows. Looks good in pictures online and even better in person. It does provide adequate privacy. At night with lights on you can see shadows and figures but it’s blurred. It was easy to put on the windows. I cut with scissors like another reviewer recommended and that worked well. The hardest part is cutting to ensure it fits the window. If I had made a pattern like the directions suggested it would have saved me time and effort from trimming multiple times. All in all it probably took me 1.5 hours, and the first hour I had a one year old fighting for my attention. Make sure you use a lot of water- that makes it easier. Also I recommend once it is on the glass, look at it from different angles... you can’t always see the air bubbles looking straight on. You can also see air bubbles clearly from outside. It comes with a small squeegee but since my windows were very small I didn’t use it. Pattern appears dark and barely visible from outside, but that’s ok with me, I bought it for how it looks inside. I included one photo with outside view and a couple from inside. It’s hard to see but hopefully gives you an idea. Much nicer in person.

I needed something to block the view from the street into my dressing area. I attached a pic with one side completed. This is an overcast day but even with that, the amount of natural light coming through is good enough for me to see my clothes and discern colors. The colors are very nice and the 3D structure gives it a nice 'stained glass' appearance. It won't fool anyone that it's real stained glass of course but it's a lovely alternative.Installation: Film was easy to cut with utility knife; film backing was easy to remove and the product is of substantial weight so it doesn't flop onto itself. I wet the window with a little soapy water (as instructed), peeled about 5" of backing at the top and positioned that at the top of the window, and held it while peeling the rest of the backing. Very easy. The enclosed squeegee was handy to smooth and get bubbles out.

We needed to cover a half moon size window in our living room. I made a pattern using newspaper, then l traced the the pattern to cut out the film. My window was about 6 inches too big so l was able to piece it by using a leftover scrap piece. It was easy to install and it looks great. You can't even tell where l pieced it together. The window l used it on is very high so from faraway it totally looks like real stained glass.

I have a big clear window in my front door and when I moved in four years ago I put a crackled glass effect privacy film up. It worked great and I had no issues so it took a lot for me to consider changing it. But I recently decided to repaint my front door from red to blue and I decided it was a great time to look for a new privacy film. The minute I saw the look of this one I knew I wanted to get it and when I received it I was not disappointed at all! I was very impressed with the fact that each of the squares has different textures, which adds to the realistic effect I was looking for. The colors in the film work beautifully with my blue door and two-tone green paint and white trim. It's as pretty to look at on the inside as on the outside. The different textures did make hanging it up and getting a smooth Application more difficult as a matter fact I had to reapply at three different times before I was happy with it but in the end, I'm very pleased with it. The pictures show how it looks from the inside (the white door) and the outside (the blue door.) I would highly recommend this!

New front door has clear windows. Bought this for privacy & in hopes it would be pretty. It’s everything I’d hoped for & more. I am not crafty in any way. I followed the installation instructions To the letter. I, however, needed to use scissors to cut the needed squares. I took measurements, used pencil & a ruler to draw lines on the backing. Then I carefully cut. I trimmed each square before placing. I also made sure I positioned the 6 squares so the pattern flowed. Even this old-lady dork found it easy. The plastic is thick & sturdy. It was easily slipped into the perfect position for pattern match. The backing peeled easily & because my pieces were only 6”x 7” I was able to completely remove the backing & slap my little rectangles in place. I love the pattern & colors. As you can tell I highly recommend this product!

The product had been shipped in a thin mailing tube; it was crushed in several places, resulting in dents and creases that were impossible to smooth out during application, so there are lots of places where it can not adhere to the window because of that.

Love it. I bought it after thinking over purchasing it for some time and am extremely happy I did. It was easy to measure, cut, and supper easy to install. I recommend getting a larger and better squeegee though for a much easier install. I installed it in my washroom and it offers the privacy I need and looks great. Not cheesy at all. Highly recommended and thinking about which window I can do next.

Living in rented accommodation, not a lot you can do to beautify your home. I used the window film to enhance french window double doors leading from one room to another. Was easy to use and looks brilliant!
