Know what you are purchasing before you trust your treasured instrument to it.

This should have never mentioned in the body of the description that it can be used as a mandolin stand. An F style mandolin is heavy in the neck and head stock so this stand is always just on the verge of tilting over so I never can feel safe on stage unless I know there is a wall behind it or some other heavy object that might catch it.Alida Portable Ukulele Stand For Soprano Concert Tenor, Violin Standby Alida4.6 out of 5 stars 10 ratings | 3 answered questionsPrice: $4.75 + $7.82 shippingGet $125 off: Pay $0.00 upon approval for the Amazon Business Prime Card. Well-priced

It’s decently sturdy, and pretty portable. I’ve not had any other stand, so I don’t have much to cross-reference, but for $10 I would recommend it. It folds easily (though a little hefty), and does it’s job for my ukulele well.

    Doesn't wobble

Love this stand for my concert ukulele. I have it setting on carpet in my bedroom and thought it might be wobbly and fall over. It is perfect.
