Maintain Lip Balm Hydrating Dry Lips with Vitamin E, 1-Pack

I’ve spent years slathering petroleum products for any kind of relief of my lips drying out in the high desert. This is the only thing I found that works especially great if you’re on any medications that also dry your skin out.

My lips have always had issues with getting chapped and irritated since I was little. A few months back when I got this I was dealing with painful peeling, bleeding, and rehardening of the skin. It was an endless cycle. I purchase the medicated version of this chapstick and that healed the issue within a week. I love that this version is a minimal-ingredient chapstick that lets me maintain my lip's health. In fact, I've only had one flareup where I needed to return to the cortisone version and I only had to use it for two days One of things I like about this chapstick is that once my lips settled down I didn't have to use it around the clock, even though it's called Maintain. This is good because you can get "addicted" to the feeling of chapstick and using it too often; too much moisture on your lips can also cause problems. I was having that issue with most chapsticks on the market, even the ones that were supposed to be "clean". I generally do a swipe in the morning and am good to go. The times I've needed extra is when it's been dry from the weather. I've enjoyed this so much that I'm on second tube! I definitely recommend this chapstick--as well as the medicated version. It has calmed the issues I was having before and is affordable (looking at your $20 "clean" chapsticks in the pretty white tubes that weren't nearly as effective!)

I am happy with the Dr. Dan's Maintain Lip Balm for daily use. Stays on and hydrates. Didn't give 5 stars only because of the price point for a daily use item is a bit high, and I wish it was available in stores locally, as it took a while to receive from Amazon.

I love this balm. I use it 2-3 times a day. Apply before bedtime & the next morning my lips are so smooth.

I really love this lip balm. After searching for something I could place on my lips that wouldn’t make me addicted to reapplying often – I found a true lip moisturizer with no need to constantly reapply. I wear it to bed every night.
