I agree that this is a very firm pillow. In the past I used the other Roscoe cervical pillow which I like a lot. the problem is that they wear out quickly for me and the way that I sleep. This pillow has softer memory foam around the edges like the other Roscoe pillow. The main difference with this pillow is the CENTER of the pillow is the part that has a firmer and denser foam. This keeps my head propped up and I actually sleep better and love it. It is very firm, but that is what I need so I can have a pillow that will last longer than a few months. UPDATE: This pillow just gets better and better. After a month or so it is not quite as firm as when I purchased it but it provides the perfect amount of support. Time will tell, I hope it doesn't break down any further.

while this pillow has a good intended purpose I found if Too Hard, Does not mold to your neck, Hurts my neck after lying on my side for a short time ...which is why I purchased it in the first place And most importantly ... found it to high to get my ear into the depression to avoid pressure. And then it can not be returned ... So much for that investment ! 3 year update …. I only used this pillow twice in 3 years … very hard and painful … This is not a good pillow for any position especially if you have neck or ear issues !!!!!!

ROCK hard. Very uncomfortable. No give whatsoever AND is not returnable. I didnt even attempt to sleep/lay on it due to hardness. If you like a rock hard bolster this may be for you

This product was very hard being it should be memory foam. Very uncomfortable, and actually added to me neck pain.

these should be illegal to sell. Full of chemical smells, harder than a rock, and not memory foam. It's lumpy, chopped up bits of foam tighltly bound. It's garbage and the seller should be ashamed and issue refunds.

For an inexpensive memory foam cervical support pillow this is an incredible find! I've only used this pillow for a few nights but I'm sleeping better and having less pain. It's fairly firm but the shape contours to your body. My expensive, tempur-pedic memory foam pillows are less comfortable than this one. Apparently price is not always an indicator of quality!

Plz dont get this pillow if you have trouble sleeping or cervical pain or disc issues it's going to make it worse. I wish I can return it.
