I bought this to replace my no-name cheap smart bulb that got fried after a power outage. The setup was a breeze being Bluetooth and the app has many options to utilize the bulb’s rich and vibrant colors. One of my favorites being the “fireplace” scene that’s great for winding down in the evening. This bulb paired with the Hue Go created the perfect lighting ambiance I was looking for. It’s great and simple that these two devices can be controlled simultaneously. Also, being able to create routines has helped me to wake up for those early morning workouts. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the Phillips Hue products and wished I bought them first. Buy cheap, buy twice. Buy once, buy for life.

The kids absolutely love these for sleepovers. easy to explain the app to them and hand over the reigns. for some reason the app will interfere with bluetooth speakers, so close the app and it goes away. lights dimmer than expected. not very calming because every shade is flourescent. good for party vibes or sleepovers- will not set a romantic mood bc so damn flourescent... maybe a freaky mood lol but not candlight by any stretch of the imagination. the wake up feature is suprisingly effective- alarm is like a little tap and you already feel wide awake (practically the entire reason for the 5 stars). be warned tho- if you set a wake up for your spouse and leave... it wont work. your phone must be in the viscinity (sp?) so once you leave its just a light. not sure what happens to the colors if you leave, havent checked.

I like the Philips Hue product a lot, I have not had any failures they have survived 95F degree heat and minus 20F degree cold and snow . SPEND the money you will not regret it.

A big fan of the Hue light system. This was an extra bulb for my growing set. The bulbs are rather costly, but function very well.

I've wanted one if these for quite some time and I am definitely pleased with the ability to change colors whenever I want. But it's not nearly as bright as I would like. I believe there's a new 100W equivalent bulb so I might try that. My only other complaints are the lack of features in the Bluetooth app and the inability to change the wake up color.

This Smart Bulb is an A19 Bulb that’s 60 Watts. It is just like your run-of-the-mill light bulbs in size. It’s comparable to the standard, yellow-coated light bulbs you’ve screwed into lamps, fixtures, etc. your whole life. Setup is as easy as screwing in the Smart Bulb and using the Hue App to search/setup. It couldn’t be any easier! When you first set it up, remember to go into the “Software Update” in the Hue App. There’s Firmware updates you will need to download for this bulb. After setup, this bulb will automatically appear in Alexia, Google Assistant and Apple Home to control. Easy, Pizzy, Smart-Bulb-izzy! For the cost, I would highly recommend these bulbs. They freakin’ work GREAT! FYI: When you first screw in these smart bulbs, turn your socket “On”. The smart bulb should light up like any other light bulb would. If it doesn’t light up, it’s a broken bulb. So, you can then return it, instead of trying to troubleshoot the problem, endlessly. Just a little tip I had to learn the hard way.
