Michael Kors Ceramic White Watch MK5161

This white ceramic Michael Kors watch has a very clean, mono-chromatic, simple but classy look. I like the all-black ceramic one even better... but my wife likes to have different colors to match whatever she is wearing that day, and black and white are her favorite colors. (I think we single-handedly account for about 1% of the sales volume at our local White House Black Market clothing store).These watches are fairly large... more like the size of a man's watch... but that seems to be in-fashion for many women's watches today.Keep in mind that ceramic is fragile. when this watch arrived, the band was broken, as a couple links had shattered in-transit to us. That was not a problem, because we had to have more than a couple links removed to get it to fit my wife's wrist... so the broken links were irrelevant to us, and discarded. Still, lesson learned: be careful with ceramic wrist bands... they are delicate.

Love…love this watch. Came in original MK box. The next day, I took the watch to MK store to have have a few links removed. Definitely a statement piece. I love big watches. In the first use, you have to adjust the date. That was a bit of a pain. Once you got the date set, it’s all good. As I read the reviews about the ceramic bracelet breaks a easily, I was very careful putting it on. I was worried when the MK associates was hitting the bracelet with jewelry hammer to remove the links. I was so worried that the ceramic was going to chip. But the watch stood to the test. I walked out with the watch on my wrist looking so beautiful. It’s stunning!!!! Love my Michael Kors watch.

I've loved it but the bracelet had broken and nobody could resolv my problem.....

My boyfriend bought this watch for me for Valentine's Day!!It's a beautiful watch, and arrived a day earlier than the expected delivery day/week! Great service from Watch Center! It came in the original Michael Kors box, and another box over it... and shipped in a USPS box with lots of cushion, so the watch arrived in perfect condition as promised. The watch was wayyyyy too big for me but I got it readjusted for free at a local Michael Kors store.I am very happy with the watch. It is nice and simple, but at the same time, it is classy. The ceramic looks great, but I feel like I have to be extremely careful because I don't want to break it! The watch is a little heavy for me, because I'm pretty tiny and haven't worn a watch in ages... just got back to it after getting this watch. It's going to take some time to get used to it, but I know this was a good investment! It's only been a couple days since I've worn the watch, and I get compliments on it often!

I am happy with this watch because my wife loves it. I think it looks very nice on her wrist. It is pretty large and I am glad I did not go for MK5163, which is even bigger. The watch is also quite heavy. The color of the case and the bracelet are the same, which is great, becasue I have seen them being slightly different on some cheaper alternatives.The two year warranty from the manufacturer does not cover anything but the movement, i.e. any kind of problems with the case, crystal, or bracelet are not covered by the warranty, so be very careful with the watch. The movement is a common quartz movement with three subdials: 24-hr dial on the right, stop watch seconds dial on the bottom, and stop watch minutes dial on the left. The movement uses SR920SW battery.I realize that ceramic watches are now in fashion, but I do not think they are very practical because ceramic may easily chip.I was able to resize the watch using the 16-Piece Deluxe Watch Repair Tool Kit WRK001 that I also purchased on Amazon. I used the pressure pin remover to take pins out and the plastic side of the hammer to drive them back in most of the way. Then I used the pressure pin remover again to set pins properly.I think if you are looking for a nice looking ceramic watch and do not want to spend a grand on Michelle, this is the way to go as, in my opinion, MK5161 strikes the balance between good looks, quality and acceptable price.

So far,I just bought the watch for my GF, and i got to watch her open it for Christmas via Skype. I wasnt lucky enough to be in the States for Christmas, but she was so excited when she opened it... Showed up in pristine condition. And my GF was stoked! Not gonna lie, i would even wear it haha. The face size is perfect for her.Will update my review as time passes

I absolutely LOVE this watch. It is gorgeous. I also love the heavy weight of it. I am extra cautious when I put on / take off as I do not want to drop it as the links will break.BEWARE - this is NOT waterproof! The item description said that the watch was waterproof to 25m. I wore in the pool for maybe an hour the first week I had it. It got water/condensation in it. Amazon was great about the return and I had no issues getting a new one. I really wish the watch was waterproof, but loved it so much that I bought a replacement anyways.

Arrived within time-frame promised and exactly as described. I love it! It is a beautiful watch - I have had many compliments on it. Would definitely recommend this time piece...

I bought this watch as a present for my wife's birthday 9 months ago.It came in a very nice, sturdy presentation box (which she now uses on her dressing table to store her watch).My wife wanted a good watch that she could wear to work but also to social functions and this seemed to fit the bill.The watch needed a couple of links taking out to properly fit my wife's wrist, which our local jeweller did no problem.After 9 months of almost every day wear the watch still looks as good as new with no visible scratches or marks.The watch itself is moderately heavy but my wife comments she wears it almost every day and it's no problem, she likes the weight as it feels good quality and has no problems wearing it on her left wrist - she is left handed and it does not get in the way at all when at work or at home.All in all this is a good quality watch and if looking for a special gift for someone then they will be sure to appreciate this.I've asked my wife to try and think of any negatives at all for the watch and she cannot, it was exactly what she wanted.

Da ich ein absoluter Fan von Michael Kors Armbanduhren bin ...Musste meine Sammlung unbedingt um die MK5161 Keramik erweitert werden! Habe schon länger mit diesem Modell geliebäugelt... aber der Preis!!! ;) Und als mir der Preis endlich egal war, und ich mich fest entschlossen zu bestellen, bei amazon angemeldet habe, hat mich ein absoluter Schnäppchen-Preis bei Watches2U erwartet - deutlich unter der UVP! Ist mittlerweile ein persönlicher Erfahrungswert.... Warten loht manchmal doch ;) Und was soll ich sagen... ich bin hin und weg und begeistert! Seitdem ich diese Uhr besitze, bin ich der Meinung, dass ich sogar über 300 € bezahlt hätte um SIE meins nennen zu dürfen! :DEine gewohnt hervorragende Verarbeitung und ein tolles Design, das sich sowohl zum sportlichen wie auch zum Business-Outfit super kombinieren lässt! Und immer ein absoluter Hingucker... auch weil man dieser Uhr schon vom Weiten die Qualität ansehen kann. Mann kann die optische Wirkung dieser Uhr auch problemlos mit einem edlen, weißen Lederrmband verstärken... Sieht wirklich toll aus! Das Gewicht dieser Uhr ist möglicherweise gewöhnungsbedürftig, für mich jedoch sehr angenehm zu tragen, weil ich es bereits von den meisten anderen Michael Kors-Modellen kenne.Wer also wie ich, sowieso ein Fan von Michael Kors ist... der wird diese Uhr lieben! <3

Ich bin schon seit einiger Zeit um Uhren von Michael Kors geschlichen, und wollte eigentlich schon zuschlagen, als ich diese hier bei Amazon entdeckte. Mir gefiel sofort das Design dieser Uhr und natürlich auch die Farbe, denn eine weiße Uhr hatte ich bis dato ja noch nicht.★.★Ein zusätzlicher Pluspunkt für mich ist die Keramik. Ich habe eine Metallallergie und reagiere auf einige Metalle schon sehr heftig. Bei dieser Uhr konnte also nicht so viel passieren, weil nur die Unterseite des Gehäuses und der Verschluss aus Metall sind. Da ich Uhren auch nie eng am Handgelenk trage, war die Gefahr für mich schon ziemlich gering. Nun habe ich sie schon einige Wochen fast täglich an, und keine Hautirritationen feststellen können. Mit der Keramik sollte man aber ein wenig sorgsam umgehen, da sie bei einem Sturz kaputt gehen könnte.★.★Das Gehäuse hat eine Höhe von ca. 13 mm und das Ziffernblatt ist etwa 4 cm im Durchmesser mit Rand - ohne Rand etwa 3,2 cm. Es handelt sich also nicht unbedingt um eine typische Damenarmbanduhr, weil sie schon ziemlich wuchtig ist. Ich bin aber auch keine feingliedrige Frau, deshalb gefällt mir eine größere und wuchtigere Uhr auch viel besser, denn eine zierliche, typische Damenarmbanduhr würde zu mir nicht wirklich passen. Zu der Uhr trage ich immer zwei weiße Perlenarmbänder, was sehr schick aussieht.★.★Da ich so sehr zufrieden bin mit dieser Uhr, habe ich schon einige andere Modelle auf meinen Wunschzettel gesetzt, und werde mir mit Sicherheit noch die ein oder andere dieser Uhren gönnen.
