Not all X-Larges are the same.
I have ordered a number of Pacific Legend shirts in XL. Some are a little tight across the shoulders and some looser. I tried XXL but they were WAY too big. So, if you think you are an XL you are probably right just be aware that some may be cut a little bigger and some smaller. There's really no way to tell until it arrives. Just keep exchanging them. I eventually wound up with four that fit great. BTW I take a size 44 regular jacket. Some say they are a bit stiff. Maybe so, but it's good quality cotton and softens up when washed. I do them by hand and line dry. Nice shirts overall and glad I bought them. A solid thumbs up! Hope this helps.

It's 100% cotton!
It's 100% cotton, that means: it will shrink the first time you wash it, it isn't as thin and light as it looks, and it does not breath as well as Nylon. The color does not fade after washing, and the print is perfect. I like this shirt but it is not one of my favorites.

It's not a shirt it's a dress!
I normally wear a medium or large, depending on who makes the shirt. I'm 5'10 and 175. Based on the folks saying these run small I went with a large. It fits like an XL. Based on this one I'm pretty sure a medium would be too big. Either I received a moo moo rather than a shirt or lots of people here are confused as to what size shirts they should be buying!

I have a complete wardrobe of Extra Large Pacific Legend Hawaiian shirts that were purchased in Hawaii when I was there on vacations. I have lost 55 pounds, and am now wearing size Medium. The shirts fit perfectly. This is the second one I have ordered from Amazon. I love to wear Hawaiian shirts, and I like Pacific Legend the best! Thank you for carrying this wardrobe line.
