Beautiful colors, minimal to no smell. They spread beautifully-especially with a little oil or water. Lots of pigment--you don't need much paint. Super easy, quick clean up. Nice sheen even without varnish. I ordered many more colors--fantastic really. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy use and clean up! *by on Reviewed in the United States January 17, 2026* Easy to use and clean up! They are great for those breaking into oil painting. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great beginners set *by on Reviewed in the United States March 3, 2026* No, I’m not new to oil painting, I’m new to water soluble oil painting. It will take some getting used to, but it’s very efficient especially when you’re doing quick work. I received it as a gift over Christmas to try and I love the set. I think it’s adorable. It comes with its own little mineral oil and sample tubes to play around with. So if you have some little panels, you wanna play around with this is a great little kit. Holbein by speaks for itself it’s one of the best paint companies to date. So I can recommend quality with this. Also, this was a good value for the money from when I can see and it does dry quickly because it is water soluble 22 to 3 days for each layer. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/14113318-holbein-duo-aqua-oil-compact-set-of-10-10ml-tubes](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/14113318-holbein-duo-aqua-oil-compact-set-of-10-10ml-tubes) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
