Royal Albert New Country Roses Pink Teacup & Saucer Set

I ordered four of these. I haven't opened all of them yet to make absolutely sure none broke, but as far as I can tell they are all in tact.I got a tea set of this same design from the Royal Albert company itself for my birthday, so of course I wanted the matching cups, since I fully intend to use the set one day. The china is very good quality and feels thicker than the other tea cups in my collection. Since there is gold trim on it I would not put these in the microwave (just throwing that out there in case anyone is thinking of that). The pink version of this is definitely a LOT lighter and paler than in the picture shown. It's more of a ballet slipper pink. Macy's sells these as well, so I would check the color there to make sure you like it before you buy it. The rose design is printed and looks lovely (and here I would also like to say to hand wash them only, do not put them in the dishwasher).The only thing I am just slightly disappointed in is the fact that the stamp on the bottom of the cup does not include the name of the design. The stamp on the saucer does have the name, but the tea cup itself does not. I have included photos to show this.This shipped a lot faster than I thought it would. I literally ordered this two days ago and it showed up today. The box it came in was big, but these were all wrapped differently. One cup was inside a box, two others just had bubble wrap, and the last one I don't think had anything around it. Keep in mind these do come packaged in the Royal Albert box as well so there isn't much movement for them at all but still. For china, you'd think they'd be even just a little more careful. This is likely why some people here say that theirs showed up broken.As someone who collects tea cups for a hobby, I think these are just lovely. The china is good quality and absolutely adorable. As someone who intends to use these one day, I think they feel fairly durable. With proper care, these will last a very long time. This is well worth the investment.

I was worried about receiving it in frigid temperatures … it survived and it’s a lovely set with the colors so vibrant.

I ADORE this cup. The color is perfect and exactly as pictured. The cup is dainty yet sturdy. I like to drink earl grey in the morning and chamomile at night time so the cup has been washed many times with no chips or flakes.

Got this for my sister in law after someone else got her the teapot as a wedding gift. She loved it! Absolutely gorgeous, well packed and arrived in one piece, great price, and did I mention how lovely they are?

This teacup is good quality, the cup and saucer are heavier than they look because they are fairly sturdy. The pink is much, much paler than it looks on the photo, which I was a little disappointed about, because I think it looks a little nicer in the photo. But I still like it enough to keep it and use it. I am actually thinking of getting the 100 year collection set of teacups because I like the style so much.

Very pretty teacup perfectly gift boxes, purchased for myself and was very pleased. The color is slightly lighter than the picture but still a lovely shade of pink with nice details on the roses. The cup itself is dainty and the saucer has almost a shallow bowl shape to it, which I particularly liked about it. It's a little more unique than your typical saucer. Perfect for afternoon tea at home, or as a gift.

Packaged in a nice box so it would make a great gift. Really beautiful. I love it.
