Works great
Soak your barrel. Scrub it and then use clean patches. You will be surprised at the copper fouling you get from a supposedly “clean” barrel.

This product ABSOLUTELY WORKS
Ok so the picture is the progression in RE-cleaning a CLEAN GUN.This solvent absolutely pulls the copper and carbon that other solvents have missed after a liberal mopping and a 20min soak.... 20 brush strokes a remop.... and patching until acceptably clean...I care for my equipment.... I'm stunned by the results of using this solvent on what I thought were clean barrels.Bonus. The smell isn't at all offensive! Buy with confidence.

The good stuff !
I collect old rifles so my process is like this. For very fouled barrels (And most are) I use something more powerful like the barnes or Montana extreme but you have to be very careful using it. After the initial cleaning this is what I use. Follow the directions and you will have a very clean, copper free barrel. The best part is this is not a caustic solution. Even after you " think " it's clean try this. Clean your brass brush with carb or brake cleaner. Wet it down with with pro shot and make a few passes and then run a dry patch. You will be surprised how dirty the patch is and btw, JB bore cleaner is your friend for occasional use. For that I use the swab it foam attachment. The foam really forms to the lans

Happy with the product
Recently I purchased a used gun. When I got it home I discovered that the barrel was dirty, so I ran a few patches through it. The barrel`s dust and dirt came out, but then I noticed what looked like rust, in the grooves of the rifle-ings. After doing some research I learned that it was copper fouling. Doing more research I came across this product, Pro Shot Copper Solvent IV. Good reviews, easy and safe in my barrel, low smell, and good price. So, I purchased this and a nylon bore brush.I started by running a dry patch. Then followed with a patch soaked with Pro Shot Copper Solvent IV. I let it set for 10 minutes, then scrubbed the barrel with the nylon brush, also soaked with the Pro Shot Solvent IV. Let it set for a couple minutes, then ran a few dry patches. My barrel was so filled with copper fouling that it took three repeats of this process to see no more copper and have clean patches. I then quickly cleaned my barrel with my regular products. Finished with a lightly oiled patch.Very happy with the results. I feel like I have a new rifle.

Decent mild copper solvent
Not a harsh copper solvent but does pretty well. Low odor.

Good cleaning agent for vintage barrels
I got some colection of WWI and WWII guns. I removed all carbon and brass deposits from these barrels.

Great solvent, no fumes and works fast
This solvent has become my #1 choice. It removes copper really quickly and isn’t ammonia based (at least doesn’t smell). Early on I was suspect that it couldn’t work as well as it appeared, so I’d follow up with Barnes CR-10, only to find the bore was clean. This is all I use now and I don’t miss the ammonia fumes.

Worked great
Worked great. Don't use with a copper brush. Obviously. Use a nylon brush
