Honestly, it's a remarkably clear bell ring that fades slowly. The hardest part was mounting it, it'sawkward. Slso, the mounting screws were not included with mine.

We put it on a "little library" to replicate the school that it's in front of. Everyone loves the look and sound of this little bell. Totally worth it.

The bell functions as it should. The sound carries and works very well as a motion activated door bell.

It's tiny but heavy duty and works for my application. Placed at the top of a climbing rope for climbers to ring when they reached the top of the rope. It's only 4 stars because it took forever to arrive.

This was exactly what I was looking for to put on the outside of my granddaughter's playhouse. It is very small, but the perfect size for the playhouse. She loves it!

Item came in damaged box and without mounting screws. No where in the description does it say mounting screws are included but it does say its mountable !!! For the price you would think 3 little screws should come with it.

Well constructed and cute but more of a decorative novelty than a functioning piece. Bought this to use as an indoor dinner bell. Although it offers a nice decorative touch to the kitchen, the bell itself hangs too loosely to provide desirable tone (i.e. it rattles more than it dings). I suppose this might be rectified by placing a couple of washers inbetween the pin and the suspension hanger that holds the bell in place, but I never bothered with it. Doing so however would likely achieve a more resonant "ding" rather than the intermittent rattling sound it produces out of the box..

Great for the price. Works great as a bell to ring at the top of the kids playplace ladder
