Great product. Got for cheap and it works great. Highly recommend it.

Easy removal with a socket and ratchet. However, memorize the torque, about 15 or 20 ft pounds, to re-install or use a torque wrench. You will need an "O" ring gasket which may not be included but can be purchased at the local auto parts dealer.

The thermostat works as it should on my 98 mustang gt,it even keeps it cooler than stock thermostat

Little leary about it take a long time to open and I can tell it's not quite right but it doesn't stick just doesn't work as well as my 180 degree thermostat, this is a 170 ,might just be too cool .

Came and now I can put them both in my car

HAS A HIGHER FLOW CAPACITY WITH ALSO INCREASES POWER, EFFICIENCY AND ENGINE LIFE. THEY DO MAKE A 160 DEGREE VERSION THAT PHYSICALLY FITS MY CAR BUT MAKES THE COMPUTER TELL ME THAT MY ENGINE IS COLDER THAN IT SHOULD BE. IF YOU DON'T HAVE THAT PROBLEM YOU MAY WANT TO TRY THAT VERSION WHICH IS MADE BY THE SAME BRAND. IF YOU WOULD HAVE THAT PROBLEM AMAZON SHOULD TELL YOU THAT THE EVEN COOLER VERSION "WON'T FIT YOUR CAR" EVEN IF IT PHYSICALLY DOES.

It was a great price on a surprisingly hard part to find. And it's motorad. They make thermostats for almost all the part store chains

mustang 2010 4.6 temp. with AC 85' but you need bigger rediator.

Its good but was expecting a gasket. Didnt come with one. Not sure if it got lost. Buyer beware I guess.
