These are surprisingly good. I've used orthotics from my doctor for years with success. But they've went flat and, frankly, were always quite bulky. I wanted a solution that would fit better in shoes (I wear Nike and New Balance -- both training shoes and running shoes).I was so surprised to see an off the shelf product like this work well for me. Not only does it have very solid arch support (my arches are among the highest my doctor had ever seen), but they have some great cushioning as well. They make standing for long periods of time comfortable. They make long city walking comfortable. And they fit very well in my shoes (I wear a 13 and have slightly wide feet, so I wear a D in some and an E in others). You can't go wrong with trying these out. The price is right, they are available all over, and you get some nice cushioning.I compared these to the Spenco Total Support and they blew the Spencos out of the water. The Spencos were very stiff with minimal padding. I could not find any way in which to get them comfortable. Plus, as stated, these are a fair bit cheaper.Overall, this is a very solid product. Have two pairs right now and ordering a third!

Walking, walking, walking!
Being in my upper 70's and having gone through two total knee replacements I spend a lot of time on our rec trails out here by the ocean and need all the help I can get for foot comfort. I've gone through several pair of these Active Series Replacement Insoles and find they do a pretty good job of cushioning in the walking shoes. They are nearly perfect for me though I would like a little more cushion at the front. The heel is pretty much perfect for me. I would recommend them for anyone who walks a lot to try and then decide for themselves.

Inexpensive but so far very durable and comfortable
As i am on my feet all day mostly on unforgiving surfaces such as concrete and uneven construction sites i was starting to have problems with my feet. I was looking for a product that was reasonably priced from a company with a good reputation. When the product arrived i was surprised to see that it was 2 pairs of the inserts. One pair went into my work boots and the other pair went into my hiking boots. I have been using them for a few months now and have had no problems at all. My feet feel much better at the end of the day and these have not worn down as quickly as some other inserts i have tried out in the past.

This things are great. I can't say enough about them
This things are great. I can't say enough about them. I use these for indoor and outdoor soccer. I was having issues with shin splints (front shin pain), ankle pain, general soreness on bottom of foot heal area and a couple of weeks of this took them all away.I just removed the original insole from my cleats (turf cleats and regular), and added the Active Insole. Keep in mind if you heavily use these, you should replace them every 3 months or so. I initially didn't, because I did not know how long these would last and the pain was starting to come back. Then I replaced them and the pain is gone again. I would say to replace them when they start to look worn on top and bottom. If you compare them to a new pair you can really see the difference.

(Mailman Review) Didn't last very long for the price.
I am a letter carrier for the USPS and I needed some new insoles for the current shoes I was wearing. The shoes were still in good shape but the insoles were trashed. I picked these up after reading some reviews on here. I don't have anything wrong with my feet, I just walk about 7 miles a day. I know that's a lot so I base my review on other insoles. It is hard to give these or any insoles a rating on the feel because everyone's feet are different, That being said I don't have have much of an arch and these hurt my feet for the first week but then began to break in, so to speak. The reason I am giving them a 3 star is that they didnt last near as long as I thought they would. After about 3 weeks they were trashed. I was getting 6 -8 weeks in the insoles that came in the New Balance shoes I wear and there is nothing special about them. Just insoles. For a 20 dollar pair of insoles that was disappointing. I am still looking for a decent insole to this day. Over all they were just OK for me. For the price I will try to find a different insole that may last a little longer. I hope this review helps someone and as always Be Safe and Happy Shopping!!

Very well made and comfortable
I had been looking for replacement insoles for my New Balance running shoes for some time, and finally these not only fit (I'm a size 13) but they seem slightly superior to the original insoles. They provide a firm but soft foundation. There is some sort of gel material in the insole, which I usually shy away from because I feel that hurts stability if used too much, but it is just right here. They are a little more expensive than the usual stuff you get in the grocery store but well worth it.

Very good.
I tend to keep my walking/jogging/running cross trainers way to long NB 903s. There expensive and I put a good 2000 miles on them before I change to a new pair. So I buy these twice for each shoe to keep better padding for the pounding I give them. I change them out every 600 to 700 miles. These are a must have for me. The only thing I would like better is if they came in each size. I don't love cutting them to fit.

Saved My Old Work Boots
It's been awhile since I've purchased shoe insoles and clearly the technology has progressed. These were purchased with the intent to freshen up a favorite pair of quality leather work boots that are beyond the "broken in" stage and pretty stretched out. It should be noted that the insoles of these boots are not removable, and don't have much to them whatsoever. These insoles really worked excellent to both add padding and reduce interior volume so the boots are comfortable again and not loose fitting. As a bonus, they added a nice arch support that was lacking.I would stay away from these on any shoe without a removable insole that is already snug fitting, as these are somewhat bulky.I don't expect them to last forever, but at this price, still a better option at this point than buying new boots. I'll be curious to see how long they last and stay comfortable, but my first impression is very positive.Edit: after 2+ years these are still feeling like day 1 and have not worn out or fallen apart. My old boots never felt so good!

Amazing difference. Works wonders in your feet especialy for Plantar Fasciitis
Started tennis last year.Bought an expensive pair of shoes in order to have better support.Nine months later Plantar fasciitis is part of my life every day.Tried doctors, physio, exercises. Nothing worked. With all my shoes or barefoot I had huge pain.Bought these insoles as a last desperate act because Dr Scholls site suggested them for my condition.WOW what a change. After only 1 week of using them most of the pain is gone. Tried using my everyday shoes with their original insoles and pain comes back!!! Now I bought a second pair in order to have one for sports and one for everyday shoes. Thanks Dr Scholl for a great product

Great product, good for healing plantar fascitis.
Very comfortable and gives great support. I am size 9-UK, and these just fit perfect to me(size 7-10), didn't have to cut them.Cost is a bit high, but they are worth it, they are imported, got delivered them from the seller from New York directly. No need to worry about quality, they are very sturdy and mine have already passed through the monsoon season and they are still good, and yes i wear them on a day to day basis in my office shoes. They help if you have planatar fascitis, you have got to do the other stuff as well, like stretching, icing, but these definitely are a good 80% contributing factor to the healing (as far as i can tell from my case). I had mild PF for few months, nothing very bad, but i know it is PF. I am good now, no strange pain/stiffness in the morning first steps.

Four Stars
Its very helpful but the only drawback is that its quite thick.. so shoe might be little bit congested.

Satisfied
Good insoles. I have Asics Trail Lahar 5 trail running shoes and although I have quite average feet I had problems with arch pain. The reviews looked fine so I gave them a try. The insoles are quite soft and comfortable and the pain is almost gone.
