Fridge Ninja Fridge Deodoriser & Freshener, Activated Charcoal, 2 Pack

It appears to be fulfilling its assurance that it keeps items such as bananas/mushrooms fresher for longer which is a plus for me, particularly relating to these items so, are of course, more than value for money if it limits waste. Its size is just right and slips into the fridge neatly and its appearance is sophisticated. Just waiting now to witness its longevity, but would definitely recommend.

The reason I purchased it: I have a built-in fridge/freezer at my place. It got noisy and the maintenance team hasn't fixed the issue yet. Hence I turned it off. I then noticed an awful smell after opening the fridge/freezer a week later. I've never left any food unpackaged inside of it. So the smell was caused by an internal component. Hence I brought this product 1 month ago and it has drastically reduced the smell every time I've checked the fridge/freezer (still off). Positives: - It is very easy to use. Just remove the thin plastic packaging and put this product (pictures uploaded) directly into the fridge/freezer. There are two, so you can put one in each. I'm assuming if you only used one, keeping the other inside of the plastic packaging keeps it intact/still new (so still usable maybe 5 years down the line). - "bamboo charcoal", "chemical free". - "reusable for up to two years". - "After two years sprinkle the bamboo charcoal into the soil" Negatives: - "simply recharge in direct sunlight every month". How do I know when the recharge is complete? I haven't recharged yet, but I'm assuming leaving one day (24 hours) on my window sill (winter now in the UK) will be long enough. I've currently used the product for 30 days. My fridge/freezer smell can be smelt on it, so I'm assuming this smell will go away after 24 hours of leaving on my window sill. I'm assuming that's the purpose of 'recharge' (refresh) because this certainly isn't a battery. - "sprinkle the bamboo charcoal into the soil". This product can not be opened up without breaking it, as far as I can tell. Additionally, it looks like it is wrapped inside a tea bag or something. Where does that go, in the bin? How long does that take to biodegrade? - Why not allow users to manually unlock the product without breaking it? - Why not allow us to directly buy refill bamboo charcoal bags?

My fridge broke down and the smell was terrible as I had been away for a few days. I emptied the fridge and put a deodoriser in and was very pleased with the dispersal of the smell. Well done!! Had to get a new fridge though!!

This item is valve for your money it fits neatly inside your fridge making your fridge smell clean and fresh.

Not as good as I thought they were going to be. Helps a bit with odour musty smell but can still smell it. Wouldn't buy again.

fabulous! Not only do they deodorise your fridge- they keep on doing it for 12months! Just take them out and leave them in a sunny spot (window ledge)to give them a boost and put them back in the fridge-then when you are done with them after 12 months- place the used up contents in the ground around your plants! Nice touch was the added fridge thermometer to help you keep your food at the right temp! All that for such a low price too!

The deodoriser takes food smells away and is value for money . It is the first time that I have bought this product and am pleased with it .

I bought some pork chops that must have been bad from day 1. By day 3, the refrigerator smelled horrible - an ammonia rotten food smell. Fridge was packed, and it was not until a day later when I went to cook the pork and found it was the problem. Nothing was getting rid of the smell. Pulled everything, washed down the fridge with baking soda and water, threw out a ton and it still smelled like rotten musk. Put in a dozen baking soda, and some medical activated charcoal, still stunk. Finally bought 8 of these, and they killed the odor once and for all. Put them in all fridges and freezers, very happy with them. A+ for a product that works!

Works well. And can be recharged being set outside in the fresh air.

It's awesome, never thought it will work, i used it in my freezer because the fish drawer was making all the freezer smells but afte i used only one its all good
