I haven't had a chance to actually use the bag but it does come with noted and respected endorsements that I'll trust after reading extensive information about the product. I will tell all of you that if this product does what it claims to do, it is an amazing and outstanding item, and at a truly fantastic low price. I'm thinking of ordering 2 more as gifts for others since the holidays are practically around the corner. It's more cool than the typical gifts that get re-gifted and probably costs less than something else another might not have any use for or actually think much of.This would be a good gift for people that believe in being responsible and having a back up emergency prep plan for if a natural disaster happens, flooding, a water contamination problem happens, those who have had and currently have water issues, those who love going on more primitive camping trips, boondockers, kayakers, hikers who do thru-hikes for days, weeks, or months. Just clip it with a D ring onto your pack, letting it do its thing. It's a good water container to carry water if in the outdoors, if it's going to be awhile to your next water source, as long as it can use the sun to do it's thing. As long as you know you'll have water soon, rather than no water, is a good thing.It seems good quality material. I'm glad I have this on hand in case it's needed or for camping and back packing trips. I have no regrets. I was impressed that it doesn't only remove various bacteria but metal contaminants.Maybe I won't ever need to use it but what peace of mind to know if I do, it's on hand.

Great Idea
In a temporary emergency situation -- storm, earthquake, etc. -- tap water may be suspect or even unavailable. Water can be boiled, of course, but this item provides a supplementary water purification process, at least in summer. Good for campers, too. Water is your first requirement, before food and all the neat equipment. This has no moving parts, needs no batteries, and will work as long as there's lots of sun.

The only water purifier I know that is both portable and capable of actively removing chemicals as well as organic nasties from water.Most purifiers only take out bacteria and some viruses etc ,but throw a wobbly when presented with poisons like fertilizer ,lead and other non organic contaminants .Thank goodness for nanotechnology ,its better than the old standby carbon filtration.

Puralytics water purifier in East Africa
I used this solar water purifier in Uganda where is the past I had always drunk only bottled water. It apparently was very effective, as I had no gastrointestinal or other ill effects. Highly recommended
