    DO NOT RECOMMEND

UPDATE: 16 Months old and corrosion poc marketed inside and out (see photos) and she's been kept clean as a whistle and not in a corrosive environment (NC). Don't waste your time and money.Alright, ya da ya da been meching a while so not my first time by 40 years. 2014 Dodge Ram BighornPros: Beautiful finish (minor flaws in the chroming process, pitting)Cons: Instructions are fairly clear but incomplete 1. In order to complete step 2.0 you must first remove the gas door ring bracket from the gas door assembly. 2. In order to complete step 2.0 If you have a 2014 or similar set up, you will need to remove the screw from the gas shroud underneath where the gas door ring bracket will sit. 3. In completing step 2.3, use loctite (USE LOCTITE ON ALL CONNECTIONS). Again screws are only holding on by 2 or 3 threads and need all the help they can get. 4. To install door assembly; Vs using the supplied tiny 7mm nuts, go buy some 8-32 nylon nuts (good luck finding 7mm) so you have something to grab onto when installing! If your truck is like mine, you'll need a couple extra washers for spacers as the nuts disappears behind a bracket as you tighten. Now, if you have a child or woman that are mechanically inclined, they might get their hands in there more easily. Otherwise......you better be good as the tiny set screws will cross thread in a heart beat BECAUSE they "split" the end to slot it for a screwdriver and you'll only be working with your fingertips. 5. They supply a second set of anchor nuts for the set screws. I secured them to the bottom of the screws (at the door end) for support. Smallest set screws used (26mm) and only seat into door 3 or 4 threads at most (flimsy). They're not even "set" at the factory but leave it to you to tighten....carefully. Why they used such undersized, flimsy screws is beyond me. Why they aren't at least securely attached at the factory?.....poor design in my opinion. Two nylon spacers for the set screws that could have added to the support of the screws if they weren't overly hollowed out. If you want to save the retaining strap for the cap, remove it at the door NOT the cap. Simply gauge the hole where you removed it and drill a new hole inside or attach it with a tie/tie on the inside. The screw holes from the door assembly to the gas door ring bracket may not line up. A couple of options to get to line up but too much to describe here but don't force it! After all that the door assembly does not fit flush in the opening. Sits flush on the left but not top/bottom/right. Did the round opening change between model/years? Has to do with their mounting system, again, poor. The attachment points are so flimsy, I plan on (when it warms up) putting a bead of clear silicone around the outer edge to give it some additional adhesion and reduce vibration. I mean, with those two tiny set screws threads being so micro, they won't like vibration over time. Overall I would not buy again and I do not recommend. Spend a few extra $ and get the solid door offered by other manufacturers. I learned the hard way fixing each issue as I was installing never believing there would be so many which meant I was stuck with it.

    Locking gas exterior cover

It came fast. Of course it was not the easiest thing to install. Had to climb under truck to reach up to get the lock washers and nut on. Looks great. As a matter the other owners of their trucks have order one for theirs too.

not great for a lot of reasons

*by R***T on Reviewed in the United States on July 6, 2015*

I would of gone with "liked it except for the star like logo on it" Ok so I have a 2014 1500 with the hemi gas engine. I did a lot of searching of chrome gas doors to find one that required no drilling. That said, when you take away drilling you have less anchor points. The problem is,, instead of designing a new door,, this is an adaptation of older designs,, that said, if you follow the weak directions and have a lot of common sense, some patience, lock-tite and a tool set that includes those tiny craftsman wench sets,, you too can install this door. When your done you'll have a little regret but not enough to motivate you to remove it and reinstall the factory door. Update, the chrome is coming off, dread replacing it
