Great Glass Teapot for Personal Use, Glass Infuser is an Excellent Feature
I wanted an all glass teapot and infuser for brewing loose leaf and herbal teas, and this is a great and affordable option for personal use (I paid around $20 for the 20.3 oz teapot). It would work fine for two people too. It has a nice traditional design to it, but the all glass construction gives a slightly modern feel. I noticed some design imperfections in terms of symmetry and alignment of the handle and spout, but it is apparently hand-crafted so I'm not surprised. I have absolutely no complaints given the price and its overall performance. Some tips: Pour slowly so that it does not spill out the top, and be careful to secure or remove the lid when pouring to prevent it from popping out by accident. I've had some spills and close calls when in a rush. The infuser is deep but the teapot is relatively wide, so I feel you need to make at least 12 oz to get a decent infusion. The glass infuser has 12 small slits on the bottom for circulation, which isn't ideal but probably necessary to preserve sturdiness. I tend to lift and reset the infuser once or twice during steeping to encourage better circulation. The glass is medium thickness at best, so handle with some caution and care, especially the glass infuser. If you do break the infuser, all is not lost because it will accommodate most generic stainless steel infusers (double check your measurements) although you will not be able to use the lid while steeping. A reminder that this is not double-walled/insulated, so your tea will quickly cool down unless you put it on a low flame, which it is capable of handling.

As described tiny but 2 8oz plus is good enough for two
This is an elegant fragile infused glass kettle good for two people. I didnโt use it as a stove top but rather have an electric kettle and boiled water then poured it into the glass kettle and let it sit with the tea leaves for a minute. Excellent.

The best tea strainer I've ever had
I really love this teapot. The design is so cute and I love how the strainer works without using any metal. Sometimes a few tea leaves get through but overall it has been so great having this. I love not having to worry about my tea strainer rusting or getting plastics into my tea. It is super fragile and the first one came broken. And I have already broken the lid on my second one (because I dropped it so totally my fault). But this is a product I will probably continue to buy (when it breaks) for the rest of my life.

Not great. Not awful.
Itโs cute. Am I glad I made the purchase? Yes. Am I in love with it? No. But I will keep it because it wasnโt too expensive and it does the job. The main issue is the handle gets very hot and as you can see the picture, I need to use a handle. And I wonder if itโs going to break easily. It seems kind of fragile. It does not seem like rugged, durable glass, which I didnโt think of. Iโm not sure this is something I will use all the time be cause of this, but Iโll definitely keep it. One final noteโฆ I may be using it wrong. Lol. Well I havenโt actually boiled water in it. I did turn it up pretty high. Maybe I went too high. We will see.

Great glass teapot but check the size.
The teapot arrived on time, nicely packed and with no problems. It was exactly as described. My wife uses it on the stovetop to prepare her herbal tea. It tolerates the stove temperatures with no problem, the handle does not get hot, it tolerates the dishwasher just fine. If you are pouring the teapot to near empty, you do need to put a finger on the top to prevent it from falling off. The infuser is very nice and you can use bulk tea in it without getting a significant amount of debris in your tea. Overall, my wife really likes this teapot. The only issue is that I bought the 22 oz size which is smaller than I envisioned it to be. My bad -- It was an impulse buy and I should have thought about it a little more. I will keep this teapot but buy a larger size. Bottom line: Make sure of the size and get it. It is a very nice item if you like tea.

Teapot
Top lid came to me broken. I didnโt open it right away and when I went into Amazon to return it the time frame was expired. Iโve been using it without a lid and everyone that seeโs it compliments that it is cute.
