Almost 5stars but just short because of price....
The product itself is everything it claims to be. No leaks and great quailty are the first things that come to mind when thinking of this product. It has a small pocket in the bag that I use for short day hikes from base camp. It keeps whatever is in it cold for a good amount of time. The only thing that stopped me from giving this 5stars is the fact that I got it for $20 which is a good price but I did see it on sale for $10 and hesitated on buying it and within 15 mins it was soldout. For $10 it would have been a 10star product but for $20 its still a really good product and an alright deal.

Brilliant Gift idea.
I got this for a mate of mine who regularly goes hiking. When the pack came at first I thought it might be too small but then my friend told me it was just right because it wouldn't add a lot of strain on him while he's hiking. The less a person carries the better the experience and having 1.5 litters of water is perfect for the casual sips through the woods. My friend then went on to dismantling the pouch that holds the water quite easily. This was a good thing because it shows how easy it is to get into the water pouch to clean it. He also managed to repack it with that same ease and without damaging the pouch.**Overall: It is a perfect investment for anyone because of these reasons;1. It holds enough so you can have water with you but not to much to give a person extra strain. Not too big but not too small.2. It is easy to assemble and disassemble without tearing the water pouch. This makes the product very easy to clean.

Poorly designed product, no longevity, no storage, difficult to fill.
I wouldn't buy this product again, or anything else from High Sierra. It's difficult to fill because it has no handle to hold during fill - which means you must support it from underneath, but this forces the bladder closed and water spills out. My 10 year old had it for 3 weeks, stored it carefully, used it gently, and the mouth valve started leaking heavily after two hikes and a casual bike ride around the neighborhood. Very little storage, adjustment of straps is awkward, no chest strap, it can only hold 60-70% of what it's designed for because it spills out during fill, and the bite valve wore out way too fast. I'm calling High Seirra out on this one as a very poorly designed product. I use a Camelbak, and I couldn't lie to my daughter when she asked me what was wrong with her High Sierra Wave 50, I told her it's a cheap product made by someone who is just looking for an edge in the market to skim a buck.

I really. really, really, recommend this pack
I love this pack! I got this for my 13th birthday, and one year later, it STILL works awesome! The straps are comfortable, despite the thinness of them, and it also comes with a waist strap, super helpful. I love it when going on bike rides, because it is super light. It also has a little pocket for other stuff, and can fit maybe a few energy snacks. The only cons that I find with this are not really that big. It gets a little hot and sticky on the skin under the pack, and if you do not have a couple of ice cubes in it, then it gets a little warm from the body heat and the temperature outside. But it was 81 F, and about six ice cubes had it nice and frosty! I really recommend this for big-time bikers and exersisers, maybe not runners unless you can get it really strapped tight. I give this five stars!!!!!

light, simple and does it's job.
I like it, I fill it with ice cubes and water and go for a jog. It fits my cellphone and I could fit other little things if I wanted to. The only reason I don't love it is because the handle where you drink water from, just hangs there and as you jog, it hits my arm or my side and it bothers me. I try to pin it across the straps with a safety pin or tere is a little loop hole I use, but doesn't stay sometimes. Otherwise I really like it!

Very good.
This is great, as good as camelbaks. Very low profile which I wanted to be able to wear under coats, jackets. I love the tube insulation because if you're in the cold or desert and drink a little at a time, typically the water will get too cold or too hot. not with this. ONE ISSUE THOUGH: it has no belt on the chest to hold the straps in front of you so they rest on your shoulders and irritate you if you wear a tank top.

An affordable alternative to camelbak
I always wanted to get one and my recent decision to start bike riding to get my big butt back into shape was the best excuse to get one. I'm 6'2 295 and it stays in place pretty well, the large mouth allows for ice cubes, and the zipper pocket is large enough to carry a galaxy s3/4. The only downside is that their's nothing to hold the tube if you decide to something messy like paintballing.

get what you pay for
The water bladder isnt exactly convenient to fill as you must have the back pack attached when doing it. the mouth piece has leaked on me several times on my long runs leaving me losing my pace to fiddle with it. other than the fact that its not very useful to me when its leaking, it fits nicely and holds tight for my long 14 mile runs.

Great product!
I bought this for my wife and she loved it! It does lack two thing next to the higher cost versions; More storage for knickknacks and a spot to plug in your suck spout while not in your mouth. Otherwise it is GREAT! Small, lightweight and she loves it!

Quality
For the price this is a very good product. You may want to rig an attachment for the center support.
