Cardboard boxed packaged jelly beans.
These jelly beans are shipped inside of a cardboard box. I have bought from the Jellybelly online store and received the exact same box., the seller is a third party, saving you on shipping. Jelly beans are dry, hard-shell candies. Unlike gummies or chocolates, they’re relatively stable: 1. low moisture 2. non-greasy 3. individually shell-coated 4. resistant to sticking So they can survive bulk containment without needing an inner moisture barrier the way softer candy would. The box itself is food-grade lined. A lot of corrugated food cartons have: A. wax coatings B. clay coatings C. polyethylene-treated interiors D. food-safe liners bonded to the cardboard Boxes stack efficiently on pallets. Warehouses and distributors care a lot about cube efficiency. Rectangular boxes stack tightly; giant bags waste space and slide around. I would prefer to have a liner on the inside of the box, but that's just extra money for the distributor.
