Guffman Large Foam Neck Roll, Great Travel Pillow for Car or Plane

I have a lazy boy chair that I sit and put a small travel pillow behind my neck for support. I got this so I don't have to have a pillow hanging around my chair. This is just the right size and it stays put on the back of the chair. Unlike a pillow that falls down when you get up. I like it. I have noticed the measurements on mine are a bit different than the description. It is a bit smaller. My chair in the photos is 35 inches across in the front.

I agree with most comments the foam pillow was too hard. I did switch it out with a smaller and softer piece of memory foam, and now I love it! It says on my recliner in just the right position.

This is one of those uncommon products that make Amazon Amazon. New recliner, not as much head and neck support as I'd like, so went searching and found pretty much exactly what I was looking for. Comfortable, no need to adjust the fill. Drapes over the chair and stays in place. (I guess it's better for a fabric chair than leather). Sheepskin look that I think will go well with most fabrics. And, that's pretty much it, no complaints. Looks good and does the job. Ok, time for a recliner nap...

I have to agree with Mark A. Gallagheron 3.0 out of 5 starsIT'S TOO HARD I got mine and it was so hard it was super uncomfortable. I did what Mr. Gallagheron suggested and bought some polyester fill to replace the hard foam insert in the pillow. The fill cost me $3.00 and it changes it from three stars to four. I used an elastic and to hold it to my leather Lazy Boy recliner. This is what Mr. Gallagheron said: I ordered this because the recliner I had just bought did not have enough neck support. This was the type I wanted and it was the only type offered. The problem with it is it's filled with very hard sponge rubber hurts my neck more than no support. I took the hard materal out and filled it with cotton, now it's just right . Why didn't they use softer material in the first place. It would have looked better if they had made it brown or tan.I ordered it on Monday and got it on Wednesday, now that is service.

The pillow is too thick at first. However, a zipper gives access to the filling. I removed some and adjusted the thickness to my liking. I also parted the filler in the middle so it cradled by head. The fabric is super compy. Now, the fabric is suppost to stay in place through friction, however, it slides on a leather recliner since there is no counterweight to the pillow. But here again, it was easily resolved. The fabric is double-ply hence is creates a sealed pouch. I cut a small hole into the fabric on the back and inserted a weight. Now it stays perfectly in place. Its a great product if you are just willing to take the 2 minutes to customize it.

I had read previous reviews that the foam insert was too big to be comfortable but that they were able to swap the insert for different filling. I tried it the way it came and agreed that it was way to big and forced your neck and head to far forward. So I decided to swap out the insert for something else. The zipper fell right off immediately. Couldn’t get the zipper back on so now it’s completely useless to me. I definitely would not recommend this product.

This pillow elevated my neck pain and is a great support for my neck. Would buy it again.

The foam used in the pillow is way too dense and too thick (high). I was glad there was a zipper so I removed it and tried to cut it down to alleviate the thickness issue but the foam is just too dense (hard) to be comfortable. I ended up rolling a hand towel up and inserting it into the zipper area for a pillow and its comfortable.

It is very comfortable and eases the pain in my neck
