[UPDATED] Running into the same issue I bought these to solve.
[Update] I'm changing this from 4/5 to 2/5. I may go down to a 1/5 in the future. The converter ended up having the same issue as the stock converter that came with my pen. Inside the converter, whatever pushes the ink forward came off the post and ink proceeded to get behind it, the leaking out of the converter at the bottom. Luckily nothing was ruined but this can absolutely cause someone to ruin a good shirt/pants. So far I have not encountered this issue with the second converter but I will update this as needed. The second converter does seem to slightly leak at the base (the gold area) but only very slightly. The most annoying part is that the first converter lasted even less time than the stock converter that came with my pen. And I was even handling it as careful as possible as to not recreate the issue my stock converter had. However it did the same thing regardless. HIGHLY suggest you shop elsewhere. In case this was a random accident or possibly user error (of which I do highly doubt), I leave the rest of my review unchanged. But please consider both the pros and cons.I got a Jinhao pen that I really love (get compliments all the time for a $5 pen!). But unfortunately the converter inside quite literally fell apart. The pusher(?) that moves the ink up fell apart and ink was actually getting under the pusher. I took it apart to try to fix it but soon realized that it was a lost cause. So I hopped on Amazon and looked up other converters. Found these and was hesitant to buy them - after all it's the same brand as the one that fell apart! But I bit the bullet after reading some other reviews that stated they're much higher quality - and I have to say, these are night and day to the other converter. The build of these converters feel much more solid. The part you turn to suck ink in or advance the ink is much tighter than the one that shipped in my pen. Really happy with how durable they feel. Not only that, but MY INK FLOW IS BETTER! These converters seem to let much more ink flow and even made a noticeable difference while writing. Pen is writing much smoother! Now why 4/5? Well they don't hold much ink at all. The converter that shipped with my pen could hold quite a bit more, possibly enough to stretch another entire day (I write a decent amount at work). Losing an entire day's worth of ink is hard to overlook. In fact, I actually ran out yesterday and had to use a ballpoint pen like a lowly peasant! (Just kidding around, but I did really run out of ink and had to resort to a ballpoint.) So I just can't give it a full 5/5. The quality is great, but I'd actually recommend shopping around and looking for other converters that hold more - it's a pretty big issue. Other than that, I'd say they're just about perfect. Just know that you're only getting maybe 2-3 days of ink in these with a medium nib. That's with a moderate amount of writing. Of course, if you don't write much at work then you'll probably not think this is much of an issue. But if you write a lot, then you probably will have an issue with how much ink these hold (and depending on your pen's nib size).Overall though, great converters.

A Bit of a Tight Fit, but Works as Advertised & Holds a Good Volume of Ink
I purchased this 3-pack of fountain pen converters when the converter that came with an inexpensive fountain pen began showing signs of failure, and they arrived just in time. I've only used 1 so far but it's worked exactly the way it's supposed to. I gave the product 4 stars because even though it was supposed to fit the size of pen I have, it took a bit of careful squeezing, pushing, and "convincing" to make it fit firmly enough in the pen to not leak; I can't tell if this was due to my ham-handedness or small variations of "standard" pen barrel sizes between manufacturers, but I was so close to arranging a product return when the converter finally slipped properly into place that I decided I had to remove 1 star from the rating. The above problem notwithstanding, I have experienced zero leakage to date (the pen is used for at least a few minutes daily, and is stored laying flat with a full ink reservoir) and the 2 times I've had to fill it from a jar of ink the converter has worked smoothly. I'll keep an eye on any further developments and will update this review as necessary, but so far I've seen nothing that would lead me to expect any problems beyond those of normal wear & tear over time.

Perhaps not premium quality but most certainly very good quality
I bought theses but only needed one. One of the Jinhao fountain pens I bought on Amazon didn't come with a converter (even though it was supposed to) so I was forced to buy these. I am glad I did. The one I used, works as expected and has no functional issue. It is a simple converter so there are not much to say here. I don't know if they last long or if they function for longer time but they are the same quality as the ones come with most Jinhao Chinese fountain pens. I might buy more of these just in case one of them breaks in my existing fountain pens.

Working Perfectly; Solidly Built with Good Quality
I bought a few of these to use in various fountain pens, and at this price I was a little concerned about the quality... but there was no need. They're great, in all of the pens I've tried them with. The size is common, but does not seem to be international standard. They feel sturdy when you twist the plunger draw. That said, many converters like this come with a small piece of metal inside the cylinder to help nudge ink that is being held up out of the nib by capillary action. These don't have that. It hasn't been a problem yet, and of course, you can always just twist the plunger and force the ink towards the end, if necessary.

Not bad for the price
They are cheep and they work, I can't really say much else. I took a star off for the images not matching.

Truth about the product. Honest vendor.
Product worked fine. Just what I needed.

Works perfectly with the Amazon Basics Fountain Pen
I like being able to refill from a bottle of ink and not having to rely on the cartridges. I have also refilled the disposable cartridges but this is much better.

good value for the money
they do not fill with ink very well, probably the piston is too loose; also the handle being a bit too long interferes with some pens outer cover.
