Z28 Converter for fountain pen models Abc, AL-star, joy, Lx, nexx, nexx M, safari, vista

I have two Lamy Al-Star pens and decided to switch to a converter and bottled ink for some variety in colors and I don't like throwing away cartridges, which is partly why I switched to fountain pens in the first place. I don't like disposable products. These converters drop right into the same space the cartridge would and have little notches to help you line them up and click into place. They hold less ink than a cartridge, but I don't really find that to be a large problem. The twist-to-fill mechanism works fine but I constantly find myself twisting the wrong direction; it's threaded the opposite way nearly everything else in the world is. Clockwise moves the piston up and I'll probably never remember that. The reservoir is clear so you can see the ink level easily. If I had only one complaint it's that the 'handle' for the twist mechanism could be shorter and the reservoir taller to accomodate more ink, but that's a very small complaint.

I recently received my first LAMY safari fountain pen as a gift for going back to school. I’ve always loved to write by hand and I have been using navy blue G2’s for as long as I can remember, and they’re second to none. That being said, I have used only my LAMY from the first moment it touched paper. I’ve picked up 2 more since and they’re incredible. I love the blue black ink cartridges, the color is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I picked up the converter after being gifted a few bottle of very nice inks that I’ve wanted to try. I put it in my vista so I can see the ink as it works it’s way to the nip and onto the page. The converter is exactly as described. It fits perfectly and is compatible with the levenger inks I was given. I love the versatility it affords me as I can mix my own unique colors using the converter. I will definitely be buying another one or two for just that reason. If you enjoy writing by hand you absolutely must get yourself a LAMY fountain pen. The comfort, and quality are second to none and I’ll be using these pens for the rest of my life. My only regret is not trying one sooner.

So so easy to use and I’ve only refilled it twice but it seems to be holding up great. This way I’m able to use the ink I love in a cute LAMY Safari pen.

Good converter!

Purchased this converter to use with LAMY Safari fountain pen. This converter fits as expected. Very snug with the pen itself, so you do not have to worry about it falling out or moving around too much. It is also very easy to clean out. Was expecting the converter to hold more ink. If you want a converter for LAMY Safari and do not mind a small reservoir this converter will do. If you want more ink you may be better off injecting a refill for the LAMY Safari with ink of your choice.

It’s a beautifully smooth moving pen. (F) I am using it for Urban sketching.I am satisfied with its performance and also bought the converter so I could use black waterproof ink in place of the blue that it comes with.

It operates properly; however, the filling motion required seems quite fragile.

Desde que compré mi primera pluma Lamy, me he vuelto fan de esta marca. Como todo lo que hacen, la calidad de este deposito es muy buena, y después de utilizarlos durante bastante tiempo, están exactamente igual que el día que los compré (tengo dos plumas Lamy, cada una con su depósito). Cuando bajas el émbolo, no deja tinta detrás, y queda todo limpio. El único problema que he encontrado es que, al llenar la pluma de tinta, hay que buscar el punto justo al sumergir el plumín en el depósito, ya que sino se llena de burbujas en lugar de tinta. Por lo demás genial... e incluso te ahorras un dineral en recambios, ya que sólo has de comprar una botella de tinta, que dura una eternidad.

Wenn man Patronen einige Male befüllt hat (Converter in den Füller stecken, dann Feder in die Tinte halten und "Rad" hochdrehen), gehts auch relativ leicht. An sich auch sehr simpel. Kleckert auch nicht und hat bisher schon viele viele Füllungen geschafft. Ich hatte mich immer gefragt wofür man 10er Packs kaufen kann, ich benötige sie im Nachhinein auch erstmal nicht. Man kann die patrone nicht befüllt mitnehmen, daher ist es unsinnig mehrere Converter zu besitzen (außer einem Möglichem Ersatzprodukt). Blöd ist nur, das öfter Mal Luft mit rein geht und dadurch der Converter nicht ganz befüllt ist. Dies hängt m.M. jedoch nicht mit explizit diesem Produkt zusammen. Man kann sie schlecht wieder raus drücken und dafür nur das kleine Stück Tinte wieder rein, nur mit großem Friemeln, da befülle ich jedoch lieber die ganze Patrone neu! Sternabzug also nicht für dieses Produkt, sondern Converter insgesamt. Ich würde sie letztendlich wieder kaufen und auch weiter Empfehlen!
