Wooster Brush R291-9 Lambswool 100 Roller Cover, 1/2-Inch Nap, 9-Inch

I had a large painting job to tackle, and these rollers worked wonders. I washed one out multiple times before deciding to buy another one because sooner or later it was getting less efficient. That being said, it is certainly worth a little extra for a nice roller when you have a large area to paint.

It holds plenty of stain so it takes a lot less time than doing it with a brush or a pad. I used a stain pad the last time and it fell apart on me. This roller cover was easy to clean and I can use it more than once. I stained a front porch, a 20' x 20' deck, a boat dock and the walkway leading down to the dock.

I have been using these as a professional for decades, no other roller cover can match the finish this sleeve applies to the wall. You apply a more uniform coat and have much less dry spots on the first coat too. The second coat rolls on much smoother and almost no spatter either. You don't get the roller marks or the thick lines from the edges of a traditional cover.

Best material made for rollers. If you're painting walls that you want to look great, these are the rollers to use. Loads up a lot of paint and releases it smooth for a great looking finish. Easy to clean up, too.

Great roller brush. I am not a real expert on painting supplies so I have nothing to compare it to, but did do some reading and the Wooster brand seems to be a favorite. It worked well on our Texas textured walls, and would buy again.

My wife and I had virtually no painting experience and recently took on the challenge of painting the interior of our home. This brush made it SO EASY. The 1/2 inch nap is freaking awesome and rolls paint on the wall with ease! The lambskin really helps with splatter and is phenomenal at holding the paint to the roller. This does not fit a standard roller. It is about .5 inches too short.Is average in applying paint. Not great quality.

My mistake for not reading the info carefully enough, but the roller is only 9 inches long and my roller cage is 9 1/2 inches. This lets the sleeve slide back and forth as I'm rolling, which is a pain. Otherwise though its quality is great-- it holds lots of paint and applies it with "zero" spray or dripping.
