Seals nicely.
I used this to cover up a mistake I made on working on an engine. This stuff sealed the hole I created nicely, very pleased (so far).

Superb sealant for coolant-wetted joints
I used this to seal the valley cover plate leak on a 4.6L Toyota V8. It was very easy to use and get good results the first time every using. Not cheap, but when you don't want to risk doing the job a second time, it's worth the price.
