I work on isuzu/Gm medium duty trucks for a living, Was replacing Egt sensors under warranty frequently. Have to remove the turbocharger to access the sensor. The book time is 3.6 labor hours, It took me 4-5 hours. I have dont the job in 3 hours if I'm feeling up to it (And no bolts break)I tried every offset/crowfoot/sensor sockets. I tried torque adapters with open 6point & 12 point crowfoot. I researched extensively options from snap on, Lang, lisle, Matco, & many others with little luck some would fit on the sensors hex nut but due to extremely limited clearance, Wont not turn it. I was ready to give up & accept that the book time could not be beat. & then I found these I was not sure they would work, Even though they claim to be for egt sensors. Arrived in the mail, Tried the 14mm crowsfoot style on a 12" extension, BOOM I loosened that sensor! Had the job done in 20minutes (still have to remove the intake air duct/boot) Now if I could just do Egt sensors all day, My labor hours for the week would be crazy lol.
