Not as strong as the originals, but they work just fine.

I purchased these magnetic catches for several cabinet doors, and they have worked extremely well. The fit was perfect, and installation was quick and straightforward. Once installed, they keep the doors closed securely without requiring any adjustments. The magnets have a strong hold and do a great job keeping cabinet doors shut while still allowing them to open easily when needed. They feel sturdy, well made, and are small enough that they aren't very noticeable after installation. One of the best things about this set is the value. You get a generous quantity for the price, making it a great deal compared to buying smaller packs. The quality exceeded my expectations, and I still have extras left over for future projects. If you're looking for reliable cabinet door magnets that are easy to install and work exactly as they should, I highly recommend these.

I swapped the normal 90degree hinges with some that swing back to almost flat, but they are a little more droopy than the originals even after adjusting. These keep the doors closed (no irritating gaps). The slots allow for small adjustment to hit the strike plates flat. Installing is pretty simple--new installation--locate a spot that won't interfere with the door pull, set in place on the frame and affix using tape, and then pre-drill the holes using my favorite tool, the hinge bit. You need a slim screwdriver (I would recommend using ACR2 type or other high quality bits) to get past the shell. Then use the magnet and some tape to align the strike plate for pre-drilling. Less measurement should mean less errors (it doesn't seem to work for me, but maybe you?) They work OK. The magnet grab seems about right for my doors once they're adjusted. (may need to take off any bumper that might be there). The screws are long enough to hold to the oak doors (1 per plate). The pack of a dozen for about a buck each means I have a few extras in case more doors start to sag in the future, so now it's just keeping track of them... I would have given the whole constellation but this pack was OBVIOUSLY a tried-and-returned item. (one of the plastic housings was dinged up from a too-big screwdriver and a few screws were loose in the box. On the plus side, though, there was an extra screw of a totally different kind in there as well, so, there is that.)

Installation is easy & straightforward. The magnets aren't that strong & screws included don't sit flush with the metal plate so you have to push the door closed for the magnet to catch the metal plate. They do hold the door closed but the slightest bump releases the door.

glad I bought them! My 1970 cabinet doors wouldnt all close completely

These were unusable for me. I bought these to add to several RV cabinet doors that sometimes open while traveling. The magnets for these were at least 20% of the strength of my current latches so they offered little extra holding power. I'd say the holding power was approximately 4oz. Also, the screws were so cheap that they twisted off with little torque.

The magnets are very weak, and the screws provided also break when you try to screw them into the cabinets. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!
