A Definite Winner
Great item and better price, I still can't believe how inexpensive it was. It's not heavy duty quality, so if you're looking for a tough rig, look elsewhere as this item is built to be lightweight. It does it's job great, everything stays in place and there are lots of different angles that can be accomplished with this tripod, plus a leveler for greater accuracy. The remote was incredibly easy to set up with blue tooth on my phone, it has a button for both Android and iPhone but funny enough both buttons work with my One Plus. It also comes with a battery ready to go. The draw string bag can also be slung over the shoulder and make everything easy to transport. Seriously cannot get over the value of this item, would definitely recommend and in case of tragedy, buy again!

Great tripod for videos
I have been making videos for my preschool class while we are quarantined. I needed a tripod that was short enough to stand on my desk and versatile enough to hold my phone pointed down. This did it with ease. The directions left a bit to be desired, but with enough tightening and loosening and twisting and turning I got it where I needed it. This is very light weight. It is a nice sturdy bag with it and a bluetooth remote that I didn't even know was part of the deal! My first video went great and I am looking forward to doing another one!

Good. Cheap. Holds my Canon well.
This is a nice, cheap camera tripod. It doesn't feel very durable, a little flimsy, but it seems to hold up well. I didn't think it would hold my Canon Rebel T5i, but it attaches well and feels sturdy. I just have to be gentle when adjusting the angles, so not to tip it over with my camera on top. I prefer to use with my phone attached, it kind of acts as a selfie stick occasionally as well. I've owned this a little over a year and have used inside and outside with no hassles. I live in a very humid area and there is no sign of rust, even after it got rained on. The wireless remote works nicely. It pairs great with my iPhone or my MotoX smartphone without any difficulties. This has been a good purchase, perfect for travel.

Great for the price! And perfect for cell phone photography of an aquarium.
I'd like to rate the individual pieces separately but you can't. I gave the light weight tripod a 5 for weight, stability, and sturdiness. But the thing that your phone attaches to, while it is a 5 for being lightweight, I would rate it less for stability and sturdiness, maybe a 3.5 or 4. But, really only because it must be specific to different phones. I found that its grasp around my phone was a little weak. And taking the case off, broke my case. I don't know how to necessarily say which phones it would be better for, but in all honesty, I think the prices is so good, that it doesn't matter. I just made a point of trying not to touch the phone after positioning it in the "grasper" and in the tripod. If you can set your phone to picture delay that is even better as you won't have to touch the phone. I have yet to use the remote. But, it comes with it and I am anxious to try it. Will add to the review when I get to it. And the whole set up has it's own little bag.

It broke the very moment I tried inserting my phone.
I had just received it not too long ago. The packaging box was rather large, as it contained two of my items I had ordered. Outer package was rickety, but the inner that contained the tripod was just fine. It came in a cute little carrier pouch and I was hype. I have been waiting all week for this, and I was ready to start shooting for my premium Snapchat shows. My boyfriend and I took it out and set it up. The first thing I noticed is that the mount (or head; the little piece you screw in to hold your phone on the tripod) looked a little rickety. The metal bar seemed a bit crooked, and this was only accentuated when I pulled the little rubber piece to extend the opening of the grip. We first tried my boyfriend's phone; a bit small and lightweight, no case. It fit, with a bit of pushing. We turned it all angles to ensure it was safe to use on my phone (which is the one we use to film). Once we set up upstairs again, my boyfriend pulled up on the grip and SNAP! The metal of the grip just popped off, and a spring came out of the bottom left side of the mount. My phone is a OnePlus 3T, and I have a pretty decently lightweight case on it. He only stretched it out just enough to where it would be wide enough. And it just fell apart. I am really angry that this fell apart the DAY I GOT IT. I either want a replacement grip/mount, or I am sending back for a full refund. I will leave a higher rating if I receive a grip that is sturdy. The seller can decide which would be more professional and profitable. I'd like someone getting back to me on this by the end of the week or else I will be taking my money back. --- Update: The seller did in fact get back to me promptly; no questions asked saying they shipped a replacement. That is something I appreciated. The mount came just yesterday, and I was a bit anxious (excited and nervous really) to see what was going down. Firstly, it was mailed in a very thin bubble mailer. So thin in fact, that the multi-cornered mount was actually capable of poking a finger sized hole (doesn't look like it, I know; but I wiggled my little finger around in there so I would know) right on through the mailer. I winced, but continued the opening process. I was a bit stunned that the mount I received was noticeably different in design (apart from it looking much newer and shinier). The former that I had received with the tripod was very basic looking: matte, crooked, used to all heckie deckie and just rickety. This one that I received yesterday? Quite the opposite, visually. It was a noticeably different design; sleek, shiny, sturdy, notches up the black plastic back panels, and the metal bar that goes over the side of your phone as a grip was NOT CROOKED like the one I initially received. My boyfriend and I decided to do a test pull on the mount. Results: - Firm: A very slow and gradual pull is necessary. Do not expect to be able to yank it up. It has this "I've never had anything inside of me; please be gentle.." sort of feel to it. Have patience. - Stern: You can only make it go so far without it snapping at your phone like a hungry gator. Depending on how wide the device is, this thing will have MAD grip. We first inserted his little phone (LG Treasure; 5.65" long x 2.85" wide) as a sort of "exercise" for the mount and napped for a couple hours to let it sit in there to see if it made a difference before we inserted my OnePlus 3T (the phone that broke the first mount immediately). With this phone it was already a pretty snug fit, mind you. And after we took it out, the mount was still virgin tight. I pulled up the grip (to about as high as it can go without feeling shaky) after taking his phone out and held up my phone in front of the opening. It was much too small. So, I took the case off (which makes the phone's width just a half centimeter wider in total from end to end) and struggled to insert the OP3T (6.01" long x 2.94" wide without my case on) and it reluctantly snapped in. It was a struggle to put it into place fully because of how tight the grip is. The OnePlus 3T definitely exceeds its expansion limits, and balances in there crookedly (since keeping the phone in the middle of the mount would leave a constant hold on either the power button or volume down button). Finally, this new mount feels a bit more secure, but also really tight to the point where I worry some if it'll spit my phone out. I don't like how it sort of snapped at the back of my phone when I took it out. It left a small scuff. I will keep using this product to film and see how well it does from here. More updates to come!

A very competent setup for the low price
This is a very attractively priced small tripod, smartphone cradle, bluetooth shutter remote combo. Each component is cheaply made but works just fine. This isn't a heavy duty setup that will survive a lifetime of hard use. However, with careful handling I expect to get plenty of use out of this. The remote has a small sliding power switch which I didn't see at first. I'm not accustomed to seeing an on off switch on a remote. But that's the key to making it work. Once it's on, it should be easily visible as a Bluetooth device by your phone to initiate pairing. Once paired, it works without any issues. The cradle holds my iphone SE in its case with no problem. The whole thing is lightweight so I handle it carefully. The cradle has a standard photography bolt that can screw onto any standard tripod mount so you don't have to use the tripod that came with this setup. The tripod is lightweight aluminum and plastic. The legs telescope in 4 pieces. The center pole also telescopes up and down for some added height. It's still too short to get to face level from the ground so I envision using the tripod on a desktop or tabletop. It's a great value and I'm quite satisfied with all the features this setup came with.

Broke in multiple places within a few weeks
I am not one to do a review unless a product is really amazing or really terrible, but this tripod was so bad that I wanted to share my experience. I ordered this tripod last year to take outfit photos a few times a week for my Instagram and fashion blog. The camera was great the first couple times, but very quickly to little black feet at the bottom of the legs fell off. When these fell off, the bottom of the bottom section would get stuck in the next section when collapsed and be very difficult to take out. Not long later, the plastic part at the top cracked, making it difficult to keep my phone level when taking photos. Additionally, the metal is extremely thin (why it is so lightweight), and so the metal bent as you can see in the photo below. Because it is so thin, it also gets blown over by the slightest gust of wind when trying to shoot outdoors. Lastly, the part that holds the phone lost its grip quickly, and dropped my phone on the ground, causing the screen to shatter. I had to keep my phone in place with masking tape. If you are wanting to use this tripod twice a year, you might be ok, but for any type of regular use it will literally fall to pieces as it did for me.

VERY lightweight!!!
Here's what comes in the box: 1-Tripod it self. 2-Travel bag 3-Bracket mount for the phone 4-Bluetooth remote shutter 5- Small cleaning cloth I'll make it easy and put it in a pros & cons: Pros: -Legs can be stretched out for over 3 feet height. -Mount does swivel in all direction, and I do mean even up and down, so it's almost 360°. -Very lightweight, I was surprised! -Phone mount can even hold my iPhone 6s+ (OnePlus One in the photo) -It has an indicator for the balance so you know the phone is not tilted, very helpful. Cons: -it's made of a thin aluminum to make it that lightweight and it feels like it might break, but it's holding fine so far. -It's a phone tripod and defiantly can not hold more than a point and shoot camera. Conclusion: for the price it's an amazing tool to get steady shots and film a video or even a time lapse, it comes with a blutooth remote so you can take a photo with out hitting the screen which will make the photo a shaky one. I really do like it and I couldn't find a similar tripod for a phone that I can take with me and never have to worry about the weight and size of it.
