Best dash kit money can buy
If you are a mazda 6 owner then you don't really have many options on putting an aftermarket stereo in. I love this dash kit. yes it is expensive but it gets the job done well. What I recommend is that you get it professionally installed If you dont really know what you are doing(Like me). I took it to the local audio shop and had them put it in for me. It looks amazing cant even tell a difference. No gaps or anything out of place. The bad reviews are from the people who try to do it themselves and it doesn't fit well. I was scared to get this dash kit from reading those reviews but figured out why. Yes it is expensive but in my book it is worth every single penny.

awesome replacement
I used this to put a new deck in my car and over all am happy with it! The plastic is ok quality and works for what it needs to do. i have put some pros and cons so you know what you are getting into with this! if you have any questions feel free to ask and i will do my best to answer them for you!Pros:OK quality plasticcomes with wire harness for the vehicle with steering wheel controls on it (Module sold separate)buttons work correctlyrestored the bar on top of the stereo giving me my temp and time back!lights up great!easy harnesses and install!Cons:Buttons almost seem to be a cheep foam or somethingdoesn't sit flush like the factory oneremoval of other parts from the factory kit requiredyou have to drill a hole for the mount in the dash hole where the stereo sits (if you drill wrong may not be able to drill another one)stereo doesn't attach to the kit ^^^

Expensive, but worthy result.
If you want a clean professional install in your mazda 6 this is the way to achieve it. apart from a tiny bit of sanding around outer edge of stereo ( it was a tight fit on my modern 2Din JVC AV stereo), and small clearance cut to dash it went in like a factory fit. I'm very happy with the result.Pros: Finished result looks like factory install and that fact alone makes it a winner!Cons: Tight fit on new 2din JVC Had to make tiny cut to dash to clear middle left hand mounting lug Price!.........woooooweeee........the price........ but worth it in the end

2007 Mazda 6 hatch
Overall the kit is ok since there isn’t a lot out there for aftermarket radio dash kits. Fitment is alright has a edge that sticks up no matter how I adjust the radio and controls. The button feel eh kinda good kinda cheap. My buttons were flipped. When I would press the ac button the 4 ways would come on so I had to unbolt everything and switch the buttons. Also the vents are suppose the spin and they are kinda rough to get them to spin but over all it’s a ok kit.

bad
idk if its my stereo but they claim its 7' dimensions but yet my 10' single din would not fit in the opening, and ya i know "well its a 10' " well my 10' has a single din backing and it fit in my other 7' mounting kits for 300$ not worth it, can confirm its not bc my 10' is bc it isn't 7' like they claim it is bought a while new 7' radio and doesn't fit the opening watched YouTube videos on how to install it and the way you have to use it will not work if you have buttons bc it's not a 7' opening more like a 6.2' opening now I have to dremel it to get my radio to fit horrible product for 250$

Works well, just so dang expensive!
This would earn a 5 star review if it wasn't so expensive. It did the job, and now my wife has a stereo again (after replacing her CD changer with not one, but TWO stock ones, just to have them all fail!)Looks really sharp. It doesn't quite click in as tightly as I would like either, but you very quickly forget that it didn't come with the car. It matches really well, and all of the buttons work.I like it. I'd have liked it for half the price (or even $100...), but I like it.

Pricey, but worth it
As per the headline, this thing isn't cheap. After spending a day installing a double din head unit though, the new centre console was by FAR the easiest part of the build.Works with both manual and automatic air con controls - comes with instructions on how to remove these from your old centre console and slot in.Does sit a little further forward than the stock centre console, but does not look out of place. Depending on the head unit, you may have to spend some (understatement) time doing cable management to get the head unit to fit flush, but it's worth it for the end result :)
