Excellent for my purpose. I have an older iPod classic and wanted something that would be small, sound decent and worked well with the line-in functionality at a decent price. This fits my needs perfectly. Takes very little space on my office desk. Works while plugged into a charger (using the line-in, have not tried that via Bluetooth). Not the way I use it, but it easy to connect via Bluetooth should I want to do so (tested it with my Chromebook). The only compliant I might have is the on/off tone is too loud. Not sure why that is necessary, but many do the same. After trying a similar type speaker which had a lot of static and line noise when using the line-in port, I am happy to have found this one.

I wanted to buy a Bluetooth speaker to complement my iPhone but be portable at the same time but didn't cost an arm and a leg. I am familiar with newer, wireless speakers that uses Bluetooth technology. I've owned a number of different speakers throughout my lifetime going as far back to a time when transistor radios were all the rage! The EasyAcc DP100 is by far one of the best wireless speakers I've ever heard. I admit, I was worried that there would be too much treble without enough meat (bass). I mean, who would think a speaker this small (2.6 x 2.6 x 3.8 inches) would be able to not only handle a high volume sans too much distortion (Did I mention it has a 4w speaker!) but have a deep enough bass to make it an enjoyable, listening experience. You can connect to non-Bluetooth devices via a 3.5m aux cable which is included along with a USB charging cable and soft carrying pouch, making this totally portable. I wanted a better option to customize how and what I listen to while driving. Many times, my options are limited while stuck with weak signals for AM/FM radio. I have a stock AM/FM/CD/CASSETTE deck that I want to keep (do they even make car stereos with cassette capabilities anymore?) and it does not have an external source capability. I wanted something that would be comparable to my existing system but tethered to my iPhone wirelessly. I'm not a fan of ear buds and I also wanted a speaker that had a microphone in case I get a call while being hands free. This little guy handles phone calls perfectly and the sound is crisp and clear. As soon as my call is over, it goes back to what I was listening. The speaker is rated for holding a charge up to 25 hours although they could have made me happy with only 15 hours! I hate devices that don't come close to what the device specs state. I'm not a fan of having to recharge devices after only 3-4 hours of use? I love that I can use the speaker while charging too. The unit is a solid, unique looking and well constructed technological marvel, weighing in at a mere 1.2 lbs. It utilizes new Bluetooth USB 4.0 technology and is backwards compatible. I loved this speaker so much, I ordered 5 more! For just under $22.00 dollars, you won't be disappointed. If you are looking for a 300 watt system with all the bells and whistles, this speaker isn't for you. Many other speakers cost much more and don't come close to what this speaker can do. The best part is that you can take this speaker just about anywhere and because of its' size, it uses a small footprint. I'm not sure how long these will be available at this price so do yourself a favor and get one or more.

PROS: Decent, easy connectivity that took about 2 minutes tops. Easy connection to Bluetooth and good range from source. Can work with a wired connection using a standard mini-plug. Decent battery life. Uses a standard mini-USB plug for power via regular USB connection. Lightweight.CONS: Larger size than alternatives, not as travel friendly although it is lightweight; giant next to iPod or iPhone; not enough bass or low tones, somewhat tinny sound; Sound comes from two forward facing (vs upward facing) speakers so you have to aim it to get optimal sound; doesn't feel as solid construction as similarly priced alternatives; almost toy-like. Needs some type of indicator if battery is low. Tiny on/off toggle on bottom rear of device, better if it was on top with other rubber covered controls (volume).

Early days but this speaker is a gem. Being hearing impaired, I've found this to be a boon. Clear tones. The battery durability is excellent. The quality of construction is very good with a comfortable heft to it.The battery started to malfunction by not holding a charge.Contacted the company after several futile attempts on my part to rectify the problem. The result was that the company offered to send a replacement speaker. It promptly arrived.It is still early days, but this new speaker is functioning perfectly.Excellent customer service.Customer service is the make or break of a company's success or failure. I predict that this company will continue to succeed.Later days. Speaker #2 has stared to chirp about every 30 seconds. I've disconnected it. Paired it again several times. Still the annoying chirping. I bought another cord thinking there was a connection issue. Again chirping. So disappointed. It has good sound. My hearing aids are not up to what I need to hear on iPad and iPhone. I won't need another since the company was so good place the 1st one thatchirped. I connected the AUX wire to the speaker and iPad. Still chirping. Timed it 60 secs between chirps. Attached power cord, speaker sounded like an outboard motor. FAIL.Update. Superlative customer service! The second speaker they sent (for free) started chirp. I put it away. Then after several months I happened onto their website. The speaker proved to be still under warranty. They sent me a second replacement gratis. It is working perfectly. This time I disconnect the cable, not letting it to recharge while in use. There is a cautionary note saying to not to charge the speaker while playing music. My guess is that the first two speakers' batteries are the problem. The quality of the speaker is excellent. As for sound quality, that is subjective as I'm hearing challenged.
