I needed another charger that I could keep at home for my work Lenovo Ideapad 3 laptop because I was constantly leaving it in the classroom. This charger fits just like the one that came with the laptop. It fits snugly in the port and works great.

I'll admit I'm hard on cables. I usually have the laptop on my lap because I sit on the sofa and my dog doesn't care if she yanks the cable when she jumps up or down. I don't need bells and whistles on my laptop so I now have my 3rd low-priced Lenovo laptop. My biggest problem has been it's difficult to find a replacement cable for a Lenovo that isn't more expensive than the computer. Maybe exaggerating a little but hopefully you get the point! Another issue is getting a cable that fits snugly and doesn't fall out while I'm using the laptop on my lap. I hadn't heard of Dexpt before and I wasn't sure the charger I decided to try had the right connector nor was I sure it had a longer cable that I wanted. In the past getting a longer cable = loose fit, an when I've contacted Lenovo I was told they don't make chargers with longer cables. The charger arrived today and it's perfect. It fits snugly in the port and so far over the course of the evening it's remained connected. I don't remember if other replacement cables have attributes like this one, but I like that it has overheating and overload protection as well as temperature, over-voltage and short circuit protection. And when I was setting it up I realized the cord was longer than the short one that came with the laptop; this one is 7.5 feet! Finally, they have a 12-month protection plan, all for $22! I'll adjust my review if I run into any problems, but for now this is exactly what I've been looking for in a charging cable.
