Needed for GM steering box upgrade project in my 69 GS.
Used on a Jeep GC 3 turn steering box in a 68-72 GM A-Body steering box upgrade project. Slid right on and fit steering sector just like the OEM one had. Quite happy with results. This was for the 3/4" shaft box.

Quality Well Made Part
Quality, well made coupling. Same specs and fit as the OEM part. Replaced my steering box and this coupler. This part was not available from my regular parts supplier. Not sure if it is becoming harder to find. Steering works great now. Would highly recommend this coupling when replacing the steering box

worked with modification
this part must fit a number of cars and trucks, for my application the part was 180 degrees out ,with a modification to the steering shaft i was able to use the part.my truck is 30 years old so having to adapt is not uncomon.

Very noticeable difference!
I replaced all my front end components on my 87 chevy c20 and still had slop in my steering. then i replaced the rag joint and nearly all the slop is gone. It's a little tough to get on the splines for the gearbox but i think that's the point! highly recommended

The 2 pins were not in line with the splined hole
The pins were not in line with the splined hole, but offset an 1/8 of an inch, caused the steering column to worble and clunk. For $71 you would think it would at least be made correctly. Besides the fact that it couldn't be used for anything the quality looked good nice rag joint.
