Two out of five, sorry but...
I give it two stars for the two positive qualities. It has a great look, and it looks and feels like its made from quality materials. But...It takes a whole lot of turns to get what you need for just two cups of coffee although I'm thinking its no different than any other manual grinder in that respect. I'm a 6' male with average size hands and its much to wide to hold it around the wide portion at the top or the bottom. And try to grab it down the middle puts my hand (and wrist) in a very awkward and unnatural angle. And lastly, for the life of me I can't get it to grind large enough for either of my two French Presses. A lot of grinds come through every time.I hate to be a critic but I''m thinking why not I tried to like it, besides if you got something to say isn't that what your suppose to do on this site.

Doesn't grind coarsely, is not perfectly designed, but I might use it forever
Missing from the amazon description:- It's not tiny: 6 1/4" X 3 3/4" - nice for a counter top or to pack to the In-Laws, but not for backpacking. About the same size as the Hario Skerton I think.Major faults:- It grinds only fine to powder: it can't grand coffee coarsely enough for french press, because a metal part prevents the center burr from lowering sufficiently.- You can't see how much coffee you've ground unless you unscrew the bottom part from the grinder. That's a pain.Minor Faults:- On the grinding arm, the black handle you grasp will eventually come unscrewed. Then you have to figure out how to disassemble the arm so that you can re-attach it.- The bottom part is just round, which is not perfectly comfortable to grasp in one's hand.- The hopper closure on top tends to open during grinding if you don't hold the grinder in the right orientation--which is that your grinding movement is in the same direction as to close the hopper lid. Might open during travel, too.Pluses:- It doesn't have any glass parts, so it will probably never break if you drop it or pack it carelessly.- The hopper is big.- Since the grind adjustment is done using a screw mechanism, the grind can be adjusted to infinite precision and can grind coffee into powder. (Although that's not unique among manual grinders.)Overall, I want a more ergonomic grinder that can do a very coarse grind, and want to see how much coffee I've ground. But I don't regret having bought this one--knowing that I can get eventually get something better.

Does OK with very dry things (some seeds and salt), but knob constantly detaches and hard to re-attach
Edit: Dropping rating down to 2 stars. I've found other uses for this (grinds salt well), but the screw to the holding knob comes off very frequently, and they block access to the internal screw's top, making it very difficult to re-attach--poor design.Original:I read a review by someone else who complained about it being uncomfortable to hold and putting strain your your thumb, but she also mentioned that she is petite. I'm 6 feet tall with long hands, so I figured that I wouldn't' have such an issue. However, I also found that it can quickly make my thumb sore from holding it. Oh well.It does grind things though, so I have to be fair and give it 3 stars. I tried grinding some cacao nibs with it, since I have braces now and can't eat them straight anymore, but the oils from the nibs seemed to gum up the grinder. However, it did do a better job grinding up some seeds. However, I do recognize that those aren't things that this was really intended for, and I don't do coffee, so I can't fairly judge it for it's grinding abilities one way or the other.

Works good.
Works good, but takes awhile. I got this more for emergency coffee as when I lost electricity for more than a day and had no coffee. I do not always use whole beans, but beans store longer and so I can have some sort of fresh coffee if I lose electric again. I keep instant too, but real grind is much better. :)

It's not durable, difficult to configure and use.
This is my first and dissapointing experience with a manual grinder, I bought it at the amazon usa site, my sister brought to me to Mexico and i was happy to have a "durable steel grinder" but when I started to use it i noticed my beans where to "hard" to grind in it which It's pretty normal at te beggining, but after that I tryed to change from fine to coarse grind and It was impossible to have the grind coarse even I followed the user manual and searched a lot video tutorials in you tube, my grinds never change if it was up or down the screws. After a few attemps the burr broke :( it's not fear! I would like the company get in touch with me in order to have a refund or replace my product, I'm not satisfied since I don't have a month with the grinder!

I'm having great luck with this grinder
I'm having great luck with this grinder. It's the best manual grinder I've owned. I do wish I could get the grind a little more coarse, though.

not so good
Build quality is good, but I can only get a fine grind with the adjustment screws. Mounting screws for the stationary bur keep working loose. Somewhat disappointed with product. Would return it, but that time has expired.

Beans have a hard time getting into burrs even at wide open coarse setting. Takes approx. 5 minutes to grind enough coffee for a small French press. Returned.
